Very pretty piece. At the end was that a gloss varnish spray you used? I have had a lot of problems with varnishing my pieces I always get the lines from applying the varnish.

I have has the same problem which is why I have switched to spray varnish. I prefer satin or matte varnish.

This is a 15” x 30” canvas. I think it is my favorite for a Dutch pour, although I am working on learning how to scale it bigger. 😄

I so appreciate your time in explaining the different paints. I’m new to this and have some tubes that don’t have any markings, square or circles, so I’m unsure if they are opaque or transparent. What’s the easy way to test to see? Any thoughts? The painting you did is stunning. I really want to try it! Also, are you using g a cool setting on the blow dryer? Thanks.

When adding the extra touches you do a light touch right not to deep on the canvas

Yes it is a light touch. I usually pull the tip of the glove off my finger and touch the canvas with the tip of the glove but not the finger itself.

Wow this turned out better than expected! I love the fact you used coffee grounds which by the way, are also a great source of body scrub for cellulite! So 2 in 1 benefits! I’ve experimented with wood shavings, eggshells, and fruit nets in some of my own paintings and they’ve all turned out great too!

No I don’t use either. I use Olga Soby’s recipe and it creates cells naturally. Check out the link in my description to learn more.
