Ahh, So this drill is not about the platform at all? It's just about showing a player how quickly they can get their feet moving! It's conditioning and movement training. I always thought it was about platform control. That helps me reinforce the intention of this drill better. Thanks! That being said, I would rather pass on the outside of my body if a fast and deep serve is coming at me :) But being able to make quick foot steps is always a useful skill in many situations.
