This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. kzfaq.infoUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.

thank you for this video, Now you have explained about the different beens that go in the top bit and cleaning process of the filter in the guts of the machine, didnt know they were there. But the reason why I watched this for you to show me how to make an espresso using the milk frother. But you didn't.

Set to "Pre-ground" prior to using Cappuccino button and only frothed milk will come out. Unfortunately I haven't found a way to adjust the amount of liquid so I'll press multiple times or into a milk pitcher 😁 This also then allows me to do foam art 🥳

Hi. Fantastic review. I have brought this machine around a month back. Am still not come to terms with a perfect espresso. I am getting it sour to taste. Where could i have gone wrong??? I have changed the beans. I have kept the grinding size to 2. But still i get a sourish coffee all the time. Kindly help me please. Thanks

If its sour you may not be making it at a high enough temp, try adjusting your water temp in the settings and make the grind a little finer

Peter Philippou I found it was 3 factors, first play with your grind level, I find around the 2 mark to be best, water temperature changes taste too so check that in the settings, and finally the bean choice itself, I found the blend it was using was particularly bitter, so give those things a try and let me know how you get in :)

ReviewClu what temperature setting are you using? I did have mine on 4 but turned it down to 3. What beans are you using? I’ve got some Lavazza rossa as they seemed to be well rated

Zoe Robinson It can range, the extra mild will produce a much smoother coffee but it’s totally down to preference

How do u pick what type of coffe u want becouse i think there is cappucino, black coffe, ecpresso

Changing coffee style can be done through the large bean dial on the middle of you turn it you will see the display change a ‘small coffee’ would be equivalent to a espresso, long or extra long would be an Americano (you can choose a single or double shot too with the 1 or 2 cup buttons) and for cappuccino’s make sure the milk container is in, turn the dial to set your froth level and press the cappuccino button :) hope this helps

Ensure you have the milk attachment on, check the knob is not to the far right (the is it’s cleaning mode) placing a cup underneath and double clicking cappuccino quickly should produce hot milk

in the content of the instruction there is a section - preparing milk without coffee. But there is no description of this section. There is only a double-click description - canceling coffee preparation.

It does have a timer for auto on but it unfortunately won’t make you the coffee

It self cleans on start up and switch off so internally there is nothing to clean in terms of the pipes. Even the milk parts are spotless.

Sarah Heydinger yes that’s very true, it’s great at cleaning itself, every few days it’s worth cleaning out the dirty water reservoir and grinds container. but every 3 months or so you will been to do a full clean of the machine, it’s grinder and the such so I will get a video up on the topic very soon.

@@caseygutierrez5349 I absolutely love the machine still, a little more maintenance than I am used to (coming from nespresso) but honestly I haven’t looked back it’s a versatile machine with a lot of ways to customise your drink to make it perfect for you, I will work to get the video out next weekend :)

Asim Khan you can use the dial in the middle to choose the size of the coffee, long or extra long would be an Americano

I had a Delonghi Perfecta for around 8-9 years and it was brilliant. It just stopped working today ☹️ and I'm considering the model in your review 👍. Where did you buy the machine from for £300? Great review btw and thanks for doing it. If you maintain these machines, they really last and produce great coffee.

John Bond i got it direct from delonghi when it was on offer for the bank holiday, I think it’s back up to £700 now but keep an eye out they tend to go on sale to £300 a lot

@@bytesizeclu not sure about that. It seems to be good quality machine but coffee is pretty weak for latte :-/ btw after use manualy choose rinsing and then turn it off :-) just turning off with automatic rinsing is pretty weak cleaning :-)

Mary Murphy yes most defiantly after 5-6 cups you get a much more consistent and overall tasty cup, of yourself your bean choice helps too, but still the best coffee I have had at home!

Unfortunately not no, you could run the coffee on a lower temp over ice though for a similar effect

I have bought this machine 3 three years ago. It doesn't work. It can't be repaired. This machine was there times in the service during the warranty period.

@@schlaflogishkeit1988 Hi, hopefully I will be able to help you out here, which country did you buy it in? Delonghi tends to disable the milk feature on this machine in some countries, but first think to try is double pressing the cappuccino button and it should start to product hot milk, if it doesn’t you may have to return the machine :(

@@bytesizeclu Really appreciate your quick reply. I bought it in Belgium. I tried pressing the Cappuccino button twice, but it doesn't support that. If i keep it pressed it shows me to choose the quantity of milk and quantity of coffee later.

I think I could take something out of a box and play with it. Why show the unboxing? Just get on with making several cups and suggesting what settings to play with. 14 minutes of my life to find out your coffee was sour. Stick to your day job.

Again John very sorry to upset you, at the end of the day this is the kind of content I like to make and I do this in my space time, many people like to see the product before buying and that’s why the unboxing was here, it wasn’t meant to serve as a how to best make your coffee guide as that’s up to your personal preference, after about 5 cups the machine made a much better cup of coffee but that’s because I played with the type of bean, grind level and other settings so though I take your Criticism on board understand this video served it’s purpose as a UNBOXING if you want me to make a settings and coffee guide I certainly can.
