Before any type of theraphy, or even surgery, there must be thorough diagnosis. It is the care and proficiency of the diagnosis that builds the trust and opens the patient to a theraphy recommendation. This is where expert sales people shine and marketers often fall short. There is NO room for pitching or telling in personal selling. If the client is in front of you, it is all about him - symthoms, data and circumstances - NOT about you, your brand or credentials.
