My experience: I watch the episode in complete awe, a state of mind I find myself in every now and then when watching a new episode of circles off. This state of awe comes from watching these episodes thru the eyes of a square bettor (for a majority of my life anyway). I stop the episode, rewind, play..stop, rewind, put captions on, play….and so on all throughout the episode. Until I finally reach the end. Then I sit in complete silence for a long time… There’s levels to this shit boys and girls…this conversation with Berryhorse was fascinating. It somehow simultaneously killed all hope within me while opening up all these doors of possibilities in my mind. I’ll never be the “math guy” that builds the best models, but maybe I can solve this issue we have with getting down. Hmm…

Hmmyeah very gud book! The open market for Bitcoin has possibilities to decide a price for everything in time. In someways transitional process.. Beliefs are very conditioned depending on a given environment. Same as following social trends or social way of thinking. Once presented facing the fact, it seems like we adjust. What seems to matter is constancy about what really things are and what they can become. To elevate understandings about specific topics, who shall say that metrics of this inner world are only what matters? Is it true to say in order to understand economics you only have to consider the frame of economical environment?

1:17:50 i have to say though, i dont think this guy realizes why the Fed was created in the first place. Id reccomend the book " The creature from Jekyll Island" , which suggests the Federal Reserves role is anything but to create "everlasting abundance".

FED's job is to create some degree of money printing but not excessive. However, without FED and/or if money was tied to a hard currency at a fixed ratio, we would have negative inflation rate and positive wage growth.

I hurt my own ears from my outburst of laughter when he said he had every dollar in bitcoin. Come on, bro. It's astonishing how people can be so smart in some areas and just OBLIVIOUS in others. I think bitcoin will do fine, but there's certainly a real risk it gets annihilated. Imagine torching tens of millions and being left with crumbs because you self-imposed the need to stake your entire net worth on a system. It's so unnecessary.

Genuinly feels like the guy mixes his political philosophy with investment fundamentals. Like you can disagree about fiat currency all you want, but whether bitcoin will increase or decrease in price is a completely different discussion. And even if it did, you want to maximize your diversification. Then claiming he is "risk-adverse" while going all in on in a volatile asset is insanity.

This was before CEX and DDEXX options online ans trading was kind up back-alley with a trenchcoat and whispers. unknowing folks would pay the mark up because they literally couldnt find a place to but BTC

@@sportsdoctor0078 BTC inherently has no long term value. Putting all your eggs in a basket that could crash at any moment is inherently dumb I'm not saying never buy BTC, I'm saying your stupid if your entire life savings is in a singly cryptocurrency, which is what he said
