Hi Andy I've actually grown to like your content I've applied for Medicine at UCT and i did not do quite well in NBT i got intermediate marks in all the 3 tests i wrote But my results are really good i am worried about the NBT

If they haven’t rejected you, you still have the chance. One of the minimum requirements is the you get intermediate marks for NBT. Good luck ✨

Hei Andy. I need your help. I did my matric last year and I got all my subjects with symbols B😭💔 except isizulu(A)... so uct did not take me and I'm here at uwc doing occupational therapy. I re-apply and they told me to rewrite nbts... I just like medicine. I don't know if I must rewrite it or what? And for audiology they are still considering my academic marks for first semester. If I rewrite the nbts, are they going to consider the latest one? I'm lost what should I do

Hey, how many universities did you apply to? I always advise people to apply to as many universities as they can because UCT has very high competition, if all the medical schools in South Africa have rejected you then we can take the next step. If you only want UCT then you might have to go rewrite the NBTs if that is what they’ve told you…but it also seems like you not sure about what you want to do because you are also considering audiology, first decide on that. In my opinion OT is not a bad career, I’d finish the degree before jumping into something else.
