i am so grateful for this KZfaq channel. I'm going to grade 11 next year and I'm nervous because i'm told that this is where things get serious. Hi Dr Andy I have a question….I’m currently in grade 12 I haven’t applied yet at UCT let’s say I don’t meet the requirements for my grade 11 and grade 12 1st nd mid term results but at the end of the year I met the requirements will they still approve my results? Or how can I make them approve my results coz they’ve already rejected for instances where

Hey, if they reject you there’s nothing else you can do even if you do exceptionally well in your final exams. They are very strict especially if you do not meet the minimum requirements with the results you have already.

6 yrs studying for MBChB, 2 yrs internship, 1 year community service. After completing community service, you can apply to specialise in dermatology. While waiting for a registrar post, you can apply for a medical officer post in dermatology. Then its takes 4-5yrs *depending on your contract* you are required to write Part1 exams, publish a paper (MMED) then part 2 exams. It’s a long journey but it’s worth it❤️

Hii. I don't know if it's accurate but Google says the minimum requirement for the FPS for the NSc part is 463 but I'm 13 percent behind that. DO I still have a chance of getting accepted. I'm so worried I barely have back up plans 😢

Definitely, they will use anything to cut you off from the large group that is applying that’s why you have to make sure that you work hard from the beginning.

Hey Dr Andy, I want to study medicine but I didn't do physics and life sciences in high. I want to upgrade my matric certificate and include these subjects, so I want to know that will I be able to do medicine or I have to go back to high school and do them starting from grade 10

Hey, Life sciences is not a requirement to study medicine, they require physical sciences and Maths. If you have those on your statement and you have good results then I think you’ll be able to study medicine

I think so, UCT does take international students but I don’t know the process yet. Once I have done proper research I’ll upload a video about it❤️🙏🏾
