I just started an SME company on Pest Control treatment, and the insight & information I got from this utube video is quite extraordinary. 👌 the insect interpretation method and the steaming process are exactly what I need to move my company to the next level with worldwide certification. I'm an accountant for nearly 30 years, but tapping into Pesticide Control is quite a different ball game altogether.

Man, these buys are really difficult to treat. It is amazing how much has to be considered when doing this. But what's worse is that after treatment is complete, all it take is someone to spend the night and bring in more bed bugs.

If you don't have 50,000 for a bed bug heater or can pay $400 per room to a professional this is the best protocol to follow. You can buy 3 pesticide products that are not pyrethroids and least toxic. Cimexa Dust is a must, CIMI shield can be sprayed in the cracks and crevice and on the mattress or Eco Raider you must read and follow all label directions. Good lock

I agree Richard. When talking to my colleagues in the profession, almost none vacuum and few go through the inch-by-inch painstaking details necessary for successful bed bug elimination. Everyone's into the magic bullet "aka shortcuts". My philosophy with all aspects of pest control is to create redundant protocol systems along with differing overlapping application techniques. It's more time consuming but in the end, I rarely get call backs and happy customers. Over the long haul I've created a solid business model.

I really wish I lived in an area where this kind of treatment is practiced by the exterminator companies. The exterminator I get only use pesticides and tell you to do all the cleaning before even coming to inspect. Actually they NEVER inspect, they just come and spray and leave...all this in one single hour. The take their sweet time to make an appointment with you, never answer calls and assume that what you have is bed bugs without any visible evidence. I wish I could report this kind of behaviour, but even the city barely cares about this. I'll tell you why, these bugs aren't spreading dangerous bacteriae and viruses, no one has died because of them, most people that have bed bugs don't even know how to deal with them because they're afraid of social stigmatization, the companies are making tons of money off of poor people that sadly don't even know how they got these bugs in the first place...The gvt doesn't realize how expensive it is to manage these pests. All we do is feeding the rich, making them richer, so they can have laws to steal more from us.

+AngerinDoll it honestly sounds like your are just using a bad company. there are always multiple companies around any area. shop around, have the inspector explain how the treatment is completed. you should easily be able to find a competent professional this way.

It is about how the local laws run and how it is enforced. In NJ the landlord that has the bugs in his building must treat the bugs regardless where they came from. Unfortunately most landlords refuse to spray, and the town takes no action against the slum lords.

Get some CimeXa dust for Bed Bugs, it's pretty affordable and has nearly a 95% kill rate for bed bugs. It is also SUPER safe for home use.

Saw I bugged on my room wall so I took a cellophane tape and covered over it .after 10 days I open the tape and it was still alive today is the 12 day ,will check on the bugger later

Thank you for this video. How about rooms with wall to wall carpet that is attached to floor? We treated the room twice. It is all empty for a month now. No furniture, only carpet. We want to rip the carpet of and install laminate. I am in dilemma now what to do with a carpet? Maybe the eggs are hiding in the carpet even after two treatments! At the same time I am concerned to remove the carpet, as the process of ripping the carper from the floor might spread the bugs i through the room. I would appreciate any advise. Also, what kind of steamer, which brand of steamer you use? I am ready to purchase a strainer up to couple of hundreds, but not sure which brand to buy. Thank you very much

If I can sleep, I often wake up with swollen feet. *Seams in the quilting on the mattress need to be inspected too.

I got pounds of DE at the feed store-food grade only. $2.00 for a pound. Cheap but so effective. Don't put it around birds outside,they will die. Don't breathe. I had to put it everywhere and it worked,for fleas,too.

Source I used to work for a pest company: Yes... the Internet. The can he is using for the cracks & crevices looks like Bedlam spray though Phantom would be great too. The residual spray is probably something like Temprid. The dust he was using was Mother Earth D (shown at the beginning of the video), but it has been replaced with Alpine on the market. The calk of choice is Latex calk because it is cheaper & printable. If you are REALLY going to do this job, I would suggest you look into an appropriate Insect Growth Regulator, too. (i.e. Gentrol or Nylar)

+NETWizzJbirk the can he was using for crack and crevice spray was Tri-Die. works great but it is a silica based product so leaves a very white residual. he wasn't actually spraying it. i would honestly stay away from temprid and phantom as they can easily stain whatever you spray, instead go for Transport. it has a great residual and is a clear pesticide instead of the milky white like the temprid and phantom so it doesn't leave much of a visible mark. Alpine dust works ok. but i prefer Cimexa dust.

itsthedrizzit Indeed, Tri-Die stains. 565XLO smells terrible, etc. I would agree Tri-Die is great except the residue. Temprid and Phantom work so well... They were our staples for Bedbugs, but Transport should be great being it is basically Talstart, another pyrethroid + another neonecride. Yeah, Cimexa is the latest and greatest thing, but I have never used it. Without a doubt the silica dusts are likely better than the diatomaceous earth dusts... Makes me wonder how Drione would be... It would probably not be that much better than Cimexa because bedbugs are likely highly resistant to pyrethrins being many synthetic pyrethoids won't even kill them. The one major plus might be the Piperonyl Butoxide in Drione. What do you think?

itsthedrizzit Most of the time I got lucky. Very rarely did our company have the deal with bedbugs. We spent the vast majority of our calls dealing with ants, roaches (including German), silverfish, and earwigs, which thankfully are very susceptible to almost every product we tried. Even the German roaches were susceptible to the point one client completely knocked out an infestation with Raid Muli-Insect Killer #7 in the yellow can. I was amazed because that yellow can will not generally kill anything unless it is directly sprayed. Over the years we used Suspend, Demon, or Dragnet - basically anything ending in "methrin" and it was like a live electrical wire... spray a line and the insects would be dead before crossing it much of the time!

What is that? Where do you buy it. Crossfire is it liquid or powder?Bedbugs can really cause you mental issues. Some government agency / scientists have to invent or do something. Use to think it was mosquitoes the worsen now it is bedbugs. Much harder to get a handle on. Someone have to do something before it becomes a serious international problem. It is has already become a serious problem. What are they waiting for? Bedbugs are so much miserable!

I buy food grade DE at the local feed store-$2.00 a pound. They give it to pets to de-worm..Good for humans,too.

BED BUGS ARE NO JOKE... Most people don't even know they have them until it's WAY too late. ANYONE can get bedbugs, wether you live in a million dollar home, a top university dorm, a $10,000 a month apartment, a rented room, a hotel, motel, (persons who work, or frequent these places, sex workers for example), airplanes, cruises, trailers, or tents. Nobody wants to say they have bedbugs, it's embarrassing, and can make you feel dirty. EVERYBODY SHOULD OWN A STEAM CLEANER, they're not expensive, and are great for so many reasons, EVERYONE SHOULD OWN A VACUUM CLEANER, also a definite must have, for obvious reasons. BLEACH, preferably CLOROX, (the cheaper brands are mostly water), and bleach kills. Getting rid of bed bugs is not easy, you will do more laundry then you ever have in your entire life. YOU CAN GET RID OF THESE LITTLE MONSTERS (BED BUGS) ON YOUR OWN. To keep them GONE, every time I change my sheets and bedding, I give my mattress a thorough steam, under my bed, the legs of my bed, and anywhere else bed bugs like to hide... AND ALWAYS, before moving in to a new location, vacuum, and steam EVERYTHING. BED BUGS ARE NO JOKE... As you can tell, I now have a serious bed bug phobia.

I've tried everything to get rid of these bugs treatment systems steam powders any other suggestions cause I'm losing my mind I also washed everything in my 4 bedroom home still see one here and there

Please make sure you have bed bugs, not other insects. If bed bugs are indeed still present, you may try the following: 1) only sleep on the same bed; 2) do not sit on upholstered sofa; 3) steam the bed frame and repeat 3 times; 4) check the interceptors under bed and sofa legs weekly and clean them after ach check; 5) encase the mattress and box spring with plastic zippered encasement; 6) launder all bed linens and pillow cases weekly.

MMM... what about all the bugs within the cavity of the bed and couch/chair. This is one of the most common places to find them. ALL dust covers should be removed from furniture. You will definitely miss them if you do not. Treat inside cavity with liquid residual.

We would suggest encasing the bed so any bugs hiding in cracks or cavities will starve to death. Installing encasement also makes it easier for future inspection and treatment. If worried about the cost, then use vinyl encasements until elimination. In many cases, upholstered sofas and chairs are indeed very difficult to treat. The rocking chairs and sofa beds are especially difficult to treat because there are many potential hiding places. Very thorough treatment using a residual insecticide is recommended. Insecticide dust is another option. You may also steam the sofa. Do you need to remove the backing of the sofa or chair? Our suggestion is no because removing the backing will allow bed bugs to find their way into deeper harborages more easily. With backing intact, bed bugs would more likely hide at edges of the backing.

Maybe if your rich a nerdy scientist will show up at your house and start inspecting each house with a magnifying glass and all this craziness! Made me laugh. Though I think that's the point. In the end one will get so run down from poor lifestyle. May end up debilitated and then struggle with the bugs. Whatever the reason for these peoples immobility or disability, it is really sensitive and good of these chaps to explain and patiently oversee their improvement and the quality of life returns. It is a real pain in the backside. The longer you put it off the worse it will be. Sooner or later one should learn to be clean and tidy. Or clutter free. I am a bit of a hoarder myself. So I know its hard.

Overdone presentation. Get real! Frequent laundering and heat treatments can be done by each household without any need for this sham of professional help. Otherwise, especially with multi-apartment dwellings, these sham professionals will claim they cannot be done without. Minimal, rudimentary education of the residents is all that is needed. These 'professionals' should get an actual job rather than perpetuate the infestation problems that households can easily resolve by reasonable adjustments to their routine weekly housekeeping tasks.
