Bedford Autodrome with the Life110 Alpine A110, at EVO Magazine Trackdays

A short stint at Bedford Autodrome in the Life110 Alpine A110. With 32 degC ambient temps these were shorts stints only, but the car was a joy to drive.
This video is almost a complete stint, from leaving the pits to chasing down a well driven Cayman GT4, fun laps were had! Check out how stable the car is going into corners and under braking, and the grip it delivers. All the upgrades really work together. Enjoy the video!

Awesome video! That was me in the GT4! You had me! I pulled in to let you go but guess you had to come in to cool down. Great fun!

Yes that was fun. Better cooling on the GT4 so it could keep lapping! I was making up nearly all the time under braking, need to go late and hard!

@@Alpine_LIFE110 You are completely right - you hugely closed up on braking. I was lucky I had power to pull away on the straights :-) I am still working on my bravery in the braking zones...especially that monster one off the back straight!

@@jamesbath1027 This is the best tutorial I've seen: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sJOVedNy2puUoqc.html I'd also suggest ramping up braking force at your usual braking point as it teaches your brain that there is more braking available and you braked too early. But it still takes a moment to sail past your usual braking point....

That was great to watch. Have my first trackday in my GT4 at Bedford in a couple of weeks so useful to see watch lines, corner speed etc.

Great video, thanks for sharing! Quick question: I understood from different articles that you did not recommend the A110S SRBs due to the fact that they generate understeer. However, in your videos including this one, you have it. Does this mean you think that for track usage you think they are great whereas for road usage, they are not?

Porsche smorsche! Great laps, Cup2s clearly providing an edge over the 4S especially given the temp, aero seems to be doing the trick down the back straight too into the chicane also, stable as 🧐
