I used to drive TK and KM chassis cabs on trade plates between sites as an apprentice, great fun 😊

300 cubic inch GM petrol inline six cylinder OHV engine with four speed non-syncro box (Eaton two speed diff option) Drove the 4x4 version in Army - it is a nice thing to drive - very smooth - you don't hurry it through the gears Easy to drive - very simple to maintain - oil, plugs, grease, and petrol

I think you will find it's a 214ci engine, with the 16in wheels.

@@oldbloke100 Never drove the 214, but liked the 300 in the 4WD troopcarrier very much. Lovely vehicle to drive. Mind you it was still a 'new' truck, built in '58, but virtually no actual use 14 years on, and drove like a machine straight off the showroom. No rattles, everything smooth as.
