This was in the beta stages of the game back when everyone played with 10% sensitivity and 3 CPS, times have changed. I’d recommend watching GamerBoy80 if you want good strats for 2020 bedwars, he has a 24 FKDR for Solos, and over that for the other modes. He also has good commentary and a chill personality, unlike a lot of other bedwars KZfaqrs.

Maybe he really lost some level in pvp also because of the mc community? It was much more pvp based before I think, and the average level of a player in pvp was kinda higher than today. On the other hand I think there's more high tier players today but the global level is lower than before, less try hard.
