A hit comedy from comic icon Jerry Seinfeld, an ambitious young worker bee Barry B. Benson (Seinfeld) soars out into the world in search of nectar and adventure. This movie was a guilty pleasure growing up tbh. It was so weird I couldn't help but laugh AT it than when it expected me to laugh. Frankly an animated movie about honeybees sounds good on paper, it's the overuse of bee jokes and the actual weird undeserved cuckold shit thrown in there that makes this one such a meme. It's a shame though that another bee-centric movie hasn't really been made though (as far as I know). After all, we got Bugs Life and Ants. Nothing says you can't have two movies of the same thing.

Personally I feel that not every movie needs to be worthy of an award, be an artistic work of art, or have some philosophical life altering deep message, it's perfectly fine for a movie to be just a fun time, but even that type of movie needs some logic/sense to make everything flow at least within the reality created in the movie, too many problems and inconsistencies are hard to ignore and take focus away from the movie.

Funny enough, it's only the female mosquitoes that drink blood. The males live off the plant juices and that kind of stuff. But the problem is, you can't tell which is which when they land on you. And for some reason, they love my blood and my dad's. I'm outside for two minutes and I get bit. My mom does the same and they leave her alone! But this movie showed me how much bees do. And yes I love honey. It's the best cough medicine around and I have used it to soothe my throat when it was sore. But yes I have been stung twice by a bee. It hurt a lot. But at least I found out, I'm not allergic to them.

I like this film partly for nostalgia but also coz it’s just one of those you can switch off and just pop on. A fun time and an okay way to spend a couple of hours. Not a masterpiece but still charming enough :)

"The whole ecosystem would get screwed up without bees." Debatable. Not only do other insects pollinate, but honeybees are an invasive species. We had a perfectly functioning ecosystem before they got here.

It would get screwed up for a while though. Cuz it's been used to working with them for hundreds of years. Maybe the other pollinators could take over, but it would throw things into chaos until they do.

I love that you react to some not so well received movies like this one or the good dinosaur, I would love to see more reactions to such movies and I am still hoping for a boss baby reaction by some of the bigger youtube reactors, they are in my mind really better than most seem to think, they are crazy for sure in some way, but when you can accept that, it's such a fun ride and also very heartwarming, that it always gets me emotional and I never expected that from a movie called boss baby some other underrated movies in my mind are mr peabody and sherman and home - those also really surprised me :)

Not so much bad just not realistic - the female bees are the worker bees, they build the hive and go out collecting honey, the male bees are chiefly drones to impregnate the queen so she can lay eggs and keep the hive going.

There were too many stars in the movie. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t a huge hit. It was a weak script and they thought that by putting in big cast it’ll save it. It didn’t. The amount of big cast only made it so overwhelming.

It did just fine on KZfaq. You did fine, too, except you seemed to get so into the movie that you forgot it's just animation. Animation is famous for presenting things that don't/couldn't exist in the real world. Naw, I enjoyed this. Keep doing them.

Because Honey bees are invasive species, the environment wouldn't change for the worse. In fact the indigenous species that decreased and became kind of endangered because honey bees would start flourishing again.

Man, you love absolutely everything. Absolutely everything feels amazing to you and I mean, that's great for you, you are very lucky... but at the same time, it kind of diminishes your opinions a lot, your reaction... there's no critical thinking there... if your reaction is gonna be the same every time, no matter what, this loses some interest for me...
