Beegie Adair, a fellow Kentuckian (Beegie is short for Bobbe Gorin, née Long)was born in 1937 in Barren County, Kentucky. She's still going strong at the age of 83. She is one of the numerous octogenarian and nonagenarian jazz musicians there have been. I think their longevity is due to the healing vibrations of the music. Since I believe in music therapy, I suggest you luxuriate in the healing vibrations for the next four and a half hours. No prescription required.

I love Beegie at 83 years I just discovered this one and only great talent about 4 years ago probably heard her on radio but had no clue who she was before that . If I’m playing golf , working in the yard or just taking my morning walk she is with me at all those events. I’m so thankful for this talented Lady who brings back great memories from the past with movie plus. Again I’m so thankful for her and her great talent. She is part of my daily life. I Have been listening to Beegie for years. Her technique is flawless and perfect for relaxing or cocktail hour, a family tradition. Having 4 hours of her in one place is a blessing.

I discovered her music from Pandora and listen to it every night until I fall asleep and leave her music till morning. I play it every weekend when I'm home and cooking. Makes my home feel like a classy hotel restaurant. Thank you for wonderful music.

I miss my mother who played exactly like Beegie! She is in Heaven saying "Danny Boy, I left Beegie for you to remember what good playing and music is all about!"Beegie is so wonderful and makes my whole week just listening to her. I have to say, there is no FAVORITE when she plays. Every song is a must listen to.

GRM: Thank you for this gift of music. Beegie Adair is a jazz piano treasure. I enjoy the fact that she never loses the melodic content of every song she performs. My favorite is Skylark. With Johnny Mercer lyrics and Hoagy Carmichael melody, what could be more perfect? No, wait, maybe it's Bewitched....no, wait.... impossible to select only one. The entire album is a gem.

I am just getting the news of Beegie's passing!. I am shocked send condolences to her family and friends. I 'discovered' her about 2 years ago, and in my book, she is one of the greatest pianists of all times. She left a legacy of wonderful music that I will listen to time and time again. Thanks Beige!

Beegie's style of playing to include her rhythmic interpretation and chord voicings remind me of the great Ralph Sharon who was Tony Bennett's accompanist for years. In fact, if I closed my eyes it would be impossible for me to tell if I'm hearing Ralph or Beegie. Being a jazz nut and a fan of the great American songbook I can't believe that I've just heard of her recently.

Ralph was indeed something. I got to meet him when I played in an orchestra for Tony Bennett. We did about 11 shows or so. It was great fun. Very friendly, modest and the ultimate professional. A real class act. Beegie does remind me of him, too!

Yeees.beegie is my favorite musician .a pianist .im 72 amd i think no music from her where i dislike!!! All are great !! How i wish i could see her.. the most i like is her "the best is yet to come" ..i really like her and at her age.i will be hurt if someday shell be gone...

Loved it, too beautiful, great evocation of a golden age in popular music. The piano sounds gorgeous. I especially loved Bewitched.

I can't help listening to Beegie and her style of piano having played drums for almost 60 years I can recognize total tight rhythm within the group too. Jazz that's my kind of music. Never stop playing Beegie.
