Could see him do a broadway thing. Jenny & Screech trilogy. Money game trilogy. HI Ren, all in it. People would watch, for sure.

Ren is attempting to create a movement where we live as a unified community. We’re born, educated, told to get good grades, find a well paid job, raise kids and repeat the cycle. We aim for everything we can attain, even if it’s more than we could ever need. Ren wants us to help each other. The only time we should ever look down on someone is to help them up. Bring on the renvolution.

The rain rain rain at the end was such a great touch echoing back to part 1 and 2. if this doesn’t win a load of awards then Ren should demolish the music industry in another epic video. For an independent artist to be this creative and the mainstream to ignore it is unforgivable

I said it when Hi Ren came out. I'm still saying it... Ren is the single most important artist of this decade, maybe this generation.... thats not an opinion of skill, though I'd definitely rank him in tje top 5 artists I've heard in my 47 years...but important because of his messages. And in this age of censorship he isn't afraid to tell it true.... not just for himself but to edify all of us. There have been a lot of great independent artists lately... but if Ren doesn't get some kind of humanitarian award for his body of work, it'd be a sin.

Did you guys happen to notice he was mic'd up again so this was a live performance with 1 cut in the entire video, so very close to a 1 take, if they didn't use the rain then they could've done it completely in 1 take. It was cool to see you guys got it the first watch, not everyone is able to. There's a lot going on in the video and the lyrics. This was amazing! Your reactions and insight were great! Ren posted the entire Sick Boi album in individual tracks on his YT page under releases and I've seen some of the other reactors are already reacting to some of the songs that were not released as videos. ❤

After watching many, many reactions, I have come to realize that WHEN, in the story, the blinders fall off tells us a lot about where someone is in taking of their own money bag. No judgement, honestly, we are all fed this as basic truths from infancy and it is a process to work through it. Bro on the left clearly picked up the small hints of trouble right off. Bro on the right seemed extraordinarily uncomfortable with the cookie jar comment. But his eyes said he understood.

It's interesting watching people react and seeing where the line lies when people decide the father's influence is a bad one. Some jump on it immediately, some at the point he says being in the palace doesn't mean Jimmy's won, some never do and think Jimmy just took the advice wrong. It's so intriguing.
@AndrewJonesMcGuire
@AndrewJonesMcGuire 10 ай бұрын
And a depressing amount of reactions - where people think that Jimmy only went off the rails because his father died - like, the buying a seat in the senate, dealing arms and then smuggling drugs and guns - was also perfectly ordinary - because that all happened before his father passed away. Even less people seem to notice that Jimmy's life direction takes another dark turn, after every time his father offers his "wisdom"
@dani4ever
@dani4ever 10 ай бұрын
For me it's the tone. The strings, his cadence and the way the father says "man" to a five year old. I went there right away for sure.

Can we talk about how genius this guy is in his art not just as a wordsmith and visual storyteller, but how he even puts score composers to shame with the shifting mood settings in the phrasings of the piano and the a string quartet... He may not have studied it officially, but he definitely did study classical composition... ...and then theres the spoken word part where he builds the tension so beautifully by actually ending a line with the word "tension", leaving the next line UNRESOLVED, and then pausing the words to show us a gun on a table, meticulously removing and folding his jacket, then loading the gun before picking as he picks up the lyrics again. The blatant disregard for trigger discipline that follows as he speaks his truth again only serves to fuel the unresolved tension more, all the way to the end of the song, despite knowing what's coming...

Ren stated "Mold will Grow upon the Surface and Consumes til it dies, and Our Fate could be the same without this Story to the Wise" His Solution is to be a Teacher Opening the Eyes of Millions with his Art and his Heart! And I think Ren's message is Crystal Clear. Ambition and Passion Without Compassion Will Cause the World To Burn! But Ambition and Passion WITH Compassion Can Save It! If enough of Us actually LISTEN to his words, then Maybe, Just Maybe the Hunan Race may Survive!

I’m not sure everyone gets the money game head coverings. When you see the start and the camera comes to piano player two, the headpiece looks like a bag of money with a rope tie on it on a floor, before Sam cams it straight. Think back to early times and how money was in a money sack and was handed to someone with pieces of silver in it etc.

Here are the lyrics Let me tell you a story about a boy named Jimmy 1 years old and his first words were "Mine, mine, gimme!" 2 years old he was walking, 3 years old walking quickly 4 years old he was running 'round the pavements of his city 5 years old and his daddy told him "Listen here, son You gotta learn to be a man, a man, he works for what he wants" 6 years old and he’s reading, writing, top of the bunch And when he's 7, his progression made him student number 1 8 years old and he’s praised for unusual grades 9, his parents pay for private school to nurturе the flame 10, 11, 12, 13, he ascеnds and ascends His daddy tells him "Son, money is the means to all ends" 14, solving complex mathematic equations At 15, IQ 150, still elevating 16, he develops complex software code That detects weaknesses in cyber security protocols 17, and he sells his vision keeping a share Not yet an adult, but he's practically a millionaire 18, and his daddy tells him "Now you're a man This world don't give a damn about you, so take all that you can" 19, he turns a profit stocks and shares invest in product 20, double-down deposits, 21, his income rockets 22, he learns that truth is just an obstacle to wealth If you manipulate the data, then the lie will sell itself 23, a life of luxury, crystal and cocaine 24, he makes the Forbes list, they're applauding his name 25, and his daddy tells him, "Listen here, son While you are sitting in that palace, that don't mean that you won" 26, a business shift, he switches business to arms He's 27, dealing nuclear and shells in Iran 28, inside the Senate money bought him a seat He's 29, a role of the council in the president's suite Now he’s 30, his daddy says "You're losing the race You're just a servant to the king, not even in second place" 31, a big maneuver for his daddy’s approval Moving imports over borders from the exports out of Cuba 32, moving grams, growing kilos to tonnes He's 33, filling warehouses with powder and guns 34, turf war with nobody to stop it Blind eye from the po-po inside of his pocket 35, he gets a call, "I'm sorry son It's your father, had a heart attack, I'm sorry, he’s gone" 36, getting pissed up, abusing his product 37, eyes glazed, disposition demonic 38, with a prostitute, a moment of passion Heating up a silver spoon and then chasing the dragon 39, getting reckless and hungry for power Daddy’s words are still driving him to kill and devour He makes a move against the cartel, but the strategy's flawed They retaliate and leave him in a hospital ward A bullet buried in his vertebra and one in his leg The doctor sighs and says "I don’t think you’ll be walking again", fuck Let me tell you a story about a boy named Jimmy He was 40, and he cursed the words "Mine, mine, gimme" 41, he wasn’t walking, 42, not walking quickly 43, never running 'round the pavements of his city 44 inside a palace with a mountain of gold But those riches turn to rubble when perspective evolves Weighing heavy on his conscience is the value of gold Lamborghini for a life, trading money for souls Jimmy followed the code inside the land of the free Put your hand inside the cookie jar, take more than you need And his example is exaggerated versions of me And it's a version of him, and it's a version of she And it's a version of you, there’s no escaping the blame The way we live is parasitic, fuck the money and fame! Cut the music! This isn’t entertainment, this is real-life The way we live is lunacy, community, it declines We're hyperpolarized, we're always fighting, and then we divide Truth is less important than the money that we designed? Money's an invention, politics from our invention They all come from peoples' ideas, did I mention? Borders? An invention, law, and order fuel the tension It leads to people killing each other. My solution? Everything is subject to change We could build utopias if individuals were taught to use their brains But if we teach kids in school to always be sheep And put themselves before the herd if there's more money for me Then there’s no future I see, where the humans survive We're parasites inside a Petri dish with cannibal minds Mold will grow upon a surface, then consumes till it dies And our fate could be the same without this story to the wise 45, Jimmy comes home out of the rain Soaking wet upon a wheelchair, drinking again He has everything he wants, he has fortune and fame He’s a fortunate fool with an unfortunate fate With a 45 caliber aimed at his brain 45 - a fitting number, 'cause his age is the same Hears the words of his father; "It's such a damn shame" Then he presses on the trigger of a money game

Can't imagine him doing Broadway. The honesty of his songs is enough. Think Broadway would be his idea of hell, he could however write. Did you see his reaction for getting number 1 in the UK? Just out of interest where is he in the States? No cruelty intended. He's a storyteller not a gimmick. It wouldn't work, I guess he could be a different version of Tim Minchin, but I think he truly loves his honesty with his words. Oops meant Canada still, dumb mare I can be. 💜✌️
