What a joy to see, that nowadays, Beethoven's music still surprising, inspiring and making us HAPPY. In my personal case, i must say he's literally the reason why I became a musician. I was 4 years old, and my dad showed me a recording of the 5th, and after hearing the bombastic transition between the scherzo and the dashing allegro finale, I was so impressed. And I said to him I wanted to be a musician. Arts are important!!!!! Greetings from Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱

Gracias Ludwig van Beethoven y feliz aniversario maestro.

The epic music of Beethoven inspired Schroeder to predominantly play the composer's compositions on the toy grand piano 😁

Ode to Joy is "interesting." Leave it to Quincy Jones to try & "out do" Beethoven. Of course he had to arrange it around a sister's vocals. John Williams WILL NOT work with him after his muscling during a certain collaboration.

It took me a while to understand why the orchestra looked so odd. Couldn’t see the woodwind and brass section at all at first, and the musicians were so spread out. Than I realized that it was recorded during the pandemic. I know there are sound medical reasons for it but the brass and woodwind players look like they are being punished, banished behind plexiglas panels and kept well away from the string playing elite.

Thanks for your message! In fact, the concert was recorded in the middle of the pandemic with no audience and strict medical restrictions. Nevertheless, the musicians were happy to congratulate Beethoven on his 250th birthday in this way.

Pull your video from You Tube when they drop in ads with no warning into the video stream. It is not enough to op out of ads and pay extortion to skip ads. I would rather see You Tube and Google go belly up than see this this continue, or start boycotting the advertizers.
