Every Day is a Summer Vacation is one of the coolest arcs in JoJolion, acting both as Jobin's introduction and fun puzzle fight for Josuke too solve. Along with this the story itself plays with the history of Beetle Fighting in Japan and their ties to youth. Making for one of the most enjoyable reads in the whole part.

@@Snugseeker Jotaro's beetle turns toward it's adversary. Jotaro then notes "So it's the same type of beetle as Beetle Platinum..." The beetle then gets Star Platinum Over Heaven and beats the other beetle in seconds

When tweetle beetles fight, it’s called a tweetle beetle battle. And when they battle in a puddle, it’s a tweetle beetle puddle battle. AND, when tweetle beetles battle with paddles in a puddle, they call it a tweetle beetle puddle paddle battle. AND, when beetles battle beetles in a puddle paddle battle and the beetle battle puddle is a puddle in a bottle they call it a tweetle beetle bottle puddle paddle battle muddle.

It technically isn't part of the arc, but the scene that comes right after, when Joubin offers Josuke a tissue, It was terrifying. Yeah, Josuke won, but we were reminded that it wasn't a serious encounter and had Joubin wanted to, he could have killed Gappy right there.

You don't boil the inca no mezames... once the deep frying is done, you toss them into a stew. You peel and cut that variety of potatoes, that is the recipe I use when I make cream stew. I'm a little sad that you didn't go into one of my favorite parts, how Jobin's usage of the wax in his beetle is a perfect way to show his mindset when it comes to problems, being willing to throw lives away to achieve his goals, no matter how important those lives are. Since the beetle he uses is such an expensive rare beetle and is so casual about the fact that it will die after what he's done to it. It plays really well into the fact that in the current arc and such, he was also willing to kill his own father for his goals.

Jojolion spoilers I think maybe it's symbolic in the sense he's made enemy's with the rock humans after Damo's death after having a decent business relationship with them. It could say he's willing to cut down anything even the rock humans for the sake of his goals and his meddling in there affair's is what ultimately leads to his downfall.

Spoilers If u look rlly deep into it it could be foreshadowing the Poor Tom fight and Jobin’s death after it. Jobin coming out on top against the rock humans and the rest of his family at the beginning by winning the new rokakaka but that being the exact thing that leads to his death. (His beetle being the one to kill the wasp but the wasp’s venom is still the thing that lead to his beetles death)

Jojo is the kind of series where the best fights are hardly even fights, they’re just normal everyday competitions where the participants use their super powers to cheat. Poker, catch, beetle fighting, rock paper scissors, and multiplayer video gaming are all fights and usually great ones.

Fun fact the pain receptors of stag beetles actually do reach the pincers so by filing them down Jobin made it easier for his beetle to feel pain and while filing them down the bug would also feel sharp pain

This is the arc that really sold me on Jojolion. Love the way that Jobin and Josuke go back and forth. The arc reminds me that I wish Jobin had a more involved roll in the Wonder of U arc. He went out kinda sad and abruptly. Make my kinda wonder if Araki has anything more in store for the character?

Not quite- since it doesn’t let him generate and manipulate FIRE. 😅 It “burns” objects and people in a more subtle way from the inside out through raising temperature.

@@unoriginalname9556no. Speed king can store a charge into an object and then whenever he wishes activate it, causing this object to not lose heat, or make whatever that object touches not lose heat. He most commonly does this on a nerve around the brain allowing him to nock someone unconscious, he isn't heating there blood, he's forcing it to store the heat it already has.
