Great cover, is what kind of telecaster is that? It looks like a 50s one to me but I’m unsure

Thanks James. It's from 1971. If you take the neck off it actually says my birthday - day month and year (yes I'm that old). It's a slight cheat because the day (3) is actually the fender model number not the day of the week. Strats are a '5' etc.
