Last year, I released a video titled "Before Sonic Mania, There Was Sonic Megamix" which detailed a project led by prominent Sonic fan game maker and Sonic Mania mastermind Simon Thomley, or as he's known online, Stealth. Arguably one of the fathers of the Sonic rom hacking and fan game community, Thomley has had a long running quest to make a Sonic game of his own. However, there was one project which Stealth worked on longer than Megamix that was perhaps even more influential to his career. After interviewing the man himself, collecting archival footage, and countless hours of research, it's now time for Stealth's story in today's mini-doc: Before Sonic Mania, There Was Sonic Project Mettrix.
