Haha...yeah it was a great character...also the stuck up tory type woman how vomits everytime an enthnic minority is mentioned...we are laughing at how stuck up she is..not laughing at the minority...oh definitely wouldnt be allowed today...I can honestly say I now watch nothing in tv....mince these days

From what I've read and heard, they certainly did write everything themselves, sometimes together, sometimes apart, and also often discussed the plots with the production team and sometimes made some changes. Matt once said in an interview though, that David often pushed him into working harder than Matt was used to as a stand-up comedian at that time, and so that they were writing usually about 15-20 mins of good-quality usable material per week! After having produced that amount of material, I'm not surprised that they are going through some of it here almost like if they just saw it for the first time. :)

Why is that surprising? Sketch comedy always has a team of writers.
