@@MumbaikarSiya I never train troops that I do not need. I do not upgrade building that I do not need for T13 cavalry. I have 1.2M cavalry to hunt boss monsters. I only open treasure boxes for big builds. I use resources and speedup during consuming events. Be patient, use resources wisely.

In the god mode,, a lot of players on this game don't know how to heal after getting attacked.. as in, there's a particular troop type to heal to stay in the game for a long time, some just hit their whole keep at the go and end up getting zero or giving away points and T1 with good layers is also stupid.

Yeah, that’s definitely a side effect. But part of bulking up on T1s is intending to not ghost and take a hit. So if you still plan on building the T1s, you’d have to get onboard with that 😇

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of people that have started building T1s without realizing how much of an investment it actually is.

I don't coin at all, and it works great for me. Just don't try this and think you can do everything.....defend, PvP attack, kill Bosses. You need to pick one, unless you coin. I went with T1 ground, but T1 horse is a much better strategy. They absorb all enemy archer attacks until they are gone. Meanwhile, your archers are pinging away without being attacked until all of your cavalry are gone. Devastating.

There are 3 things I’d like to point out. 1. Most people think that building T1s is easy because T1s are cheap to build. Yes, they are cheap to build, but when you are trying to build hundreds of millions of T1s, that is not cheap. 2. Aside from defense, those T1s won’t be used for anything else. Higher tier troops T12-T14 and even T15 you will use for attacking, for killing monsters and also for defending. So you will get much more utility out of those troops than the T1s. 3. Unfortunately, you can’t remain a T1 trap forever. You will eventually grow and you will eventually need higher tier troops. So it’s not just about cost 😉 P.s. You don’t need T15s to survive a hit from a K40 😉👌

@@RedEvony @Red Evony here is my answer to your 3 things you pointed out: 1. From a cost perspective, a T1 defense will be cheaper to build than high tier. Take the cost of 100m T1 and use this exact same budget for high tier and you'll see that your defense will not be as effective and will actually be more costly with healings. To your lower comment, of course you dint need T15s to survive a K40 attack, but to build high tiers defense that can withstand a big K40 attack, you will need more Resources (RSS AND gold that you also need for refining your gears by the way...) to build your high tier than to build your T1 defense whether it is T14 or T15. I have seen a maxed K40 (in my alliance) splat on a k38 2b T1 trap while the same player soloed and zeroed several k38-k39 5b-7b in one attack (no T1 defense). All that to say that to be able to survive big K40 it is much harder if you focus on high tier and % refines than T1 flat refines défense), especially for the same budget. 2. I was only responding to your comment on cost. But on this point, I agree with you. 3. There is a difference between a simple trap (hundreds of millions of T1s and low high tier) that can only take a few solo hits and having a T1 defense that can take many solo hits and some rallies. I play in a big alliance and faced RSP, NEF, CAC, 808, AAD and many other big alliances, played in top 20 svs rankings and we have spent months looking at defense and even the biggest players and alliances of this game have huge amount of T1s. And the players that are the hardest to zero are always those who have a mix between few hundreds of millions T1 and high tier (the mix is VERY expensive). In All-Stars, most guys are built like that now to be able to take big rallies. Some very big players have 2 defense generals (one for high tier with % refine and one with flat refines for low tiers) and switch them once their high tier are gone. If you have the chance to play against Daemon, BK or Northstar like I did, get a scout and you'll see how many T1 they have, you'd be surprised and it's the same with most mid-size and big keeps now. So to answer to your point, at k35 it's key and less expensive (for the same budget) to have a T1 defense if players want to play defense (and not ghost constantly and have sweaty hands when red signal appears lol), the more they grow the more they should add high tier (at mid size they'll need to be technical to ghost some high tiers like Cavs or siege to avoid getting their high tier recked) and then if they have a lot of money to spend, sure they can go crazy with high tier (much more expensive than T1) to have a much better defense with a mix of low tier and high tier, but again this requires much more money. So it really depends on how much players are willing to spend and it depends on your enemy (number of K40s, level of the K40s, rally team vs solo team, etc ), BUT it is first about the cost you're willing to spend to have a strong enough defense to help you survive against any enemy (if you're not a big coiner i would not advise to go high tier but T1 first and then build high tier strategically little by little), especially now farms are being hunted by Evony.

Primary focus on whole number/flat refines on the gear. If you are building t1 cavs, then you need stats like mounted hp and attack 👌

Also I will let you know exactly how much it cost me... 12B food and 12B wood, 1.2M gems and 200K refine stone for refinement. I finished my build in October 2022. There have been 5 SvS ever since in total - I placed 1 (~800K gems), 2 (600K gems), 3 (500K gems), 3 (500K gems) and lately 5 (400K gems) from the SvS rewards. From all the individual points boxes, I got extra 236K gems (x5 SvS = 1180K gems) for 540M points. We won 4 out of the last 5 SvS. Total amount of ares is more than 2K (I don't remember the exact number because it is from both SvS rewards, sharing points and individual points and I already used a lot for upgrading). All these numbers are not yet accounted for RSS rewards, refine and research stones etc So If I didn't build T1 as a F2P, I will never be relevant in SvS or battlefields. I will never be able to ascend a single general. I will never be able to use gems to buy VIP points from auction to reach VIP 15. 12B, 12B wood, 1.2M gems and 200K refine stones are not at all in vain. On the other notes, I have a ground T14, cavs T14 and archer T14 to slap back at any minor come close and leave troops in their keeps I am always naked in front of K38-39 and will only run from a K40 or a rally.

You’ve certainly done well so far 💪💪 and I think that’s great 🙂 As for the cost-benefit of T1s, I think that is quite subjective. Not everyone will be able to get the kind of returns that you have gotten so far. But for those that are interested in following the same path you’ve taken, this is definitely an encouragement. I disagree on the point of whether you would have been relevant or not without the T1s. There are certainly other paths you could have taken, depending on how much effort you were willing to put in, and how much you were willing to risk. And I don’t mean from the standpoint of spending money. I hope you keep finding enjoyment and success in the game 😁👍

Basically, the choice of T1s depends a lot on the counter troops. People consider ground T1s to counter ranged attacks, and they do work in that sense. However, from practical use, a lot of people found that T1 mounted troops are more effective at protecting against solo attacks. Building your defense for T1 mounted troops also has the added benefit of protecting your higher level mounted troops, which are usually quite vulnerable. In an ideal situation, you would want both ground and mounted T1s. But practically speaking, you’d be fine whichever your choose, but I think T1 mounted troops will perform better than ground troops 👌

@@RedEvony thanks for hasty response Aka! Well the thing about higher tier horses is that they will most probably be ghosted during Svs/KE, so they will not even be vulnerable to begin with. And people usually send archers/ground troops to attack with, almost never using horses. Which is why I’m leaning more towards t1 ground. But after your suggestion, I might start with horses first. I’m a k38 who can still ghost with 5 March slots, So now I’m gonna be starting with building the big army. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

Due the the game mechanics, t1 mounted troops seem to be the most effective for this purpose. Other t1s work as well, just not as good, apparently

As I mention above, archers prioritize mounted troops above all others. They will keep attacking the horses until they are gone. So when you have 150,000,000, and your opponent has layers of 1,000, your archers melt right through their horse and while the enemy is still pounding on your horses, you are shooting your arrows at their best troops.

In the long term, yes It’s not easy to get 2 generals ready, so for now, focus on the general you’ll be using 😇💪

Those would certainly help, but they are tough pre-requisites for a lot of players to put together 😅 I’m not big on pumping troops out, and I can only train about 14K troops at a time 😅😂

Depends on which generals you have available to you. Martinus pairs fine with Roland iirc. I don’t have Simeon, so unfortunately, I can’t say much about him 😔 For Elise, besides Trajan, you have options like Oda Nobunaga and Yue Fei that are available in the tavern. But Trajan works great with Elise, so I think you are fine there 👍 Previously I used Trajan as my assistant to Elise. Now I use Alessandra 👌

Right now, 800K t1 ground, archers and cavs each 👌 Interesting if we meet in battlefield. Maybe you might zero me, but I bet it’ll cost you 😏

Yeah, it can be mind numbing 😪😅 A lot of people use some kind of automated process to pump out all those troops, and they just keep it running. I think a simple auto-clicker would do the trick in this case 👌

I was going to write the same! Beyond everything that you said also it is the best way to get blood of ares in svs. All our t1 trap get to top10 if not top5 every event while others struggle. Only problem is that after 9 months it gain too popularity and people don’t send blindly anymore!

And of course, you can easily find all those videos just doing a quick browse on the channel 👍 The focus of this video is simply T1s. As I mentioned in the video, it is for anyone that is considering building lots of T1s to know the pros and cons before they fully commit to doing it. There are a lot of misconceptions about the T1 defense and I just wanted to clear up a few things. Imo, yes the t1 defense can be difficult to beat, IF you don’t know how to beat it or if you don’t scout and pay attention. I agree that it is definitely a way for low coiner players or F2P players to protect themselves, but it is not indestructible, and it is not as cheap to do as some people perceive. Finally, I am in no way trying to crush anyone’s hope of playing or enjoying Evony. Much of what I’m doing here is to help people get better at the game. And I hope that part is clear 😇

@@RedEvony i have seen all of your videos and been watching along time, i am aware of your videos on layering ghosting and the rest. My point is i run Zach Taylor and gwangetto as an assistant. So my defense is ranged and siege and if you manage to get thru that, congratulations you have just run into a t1 trap, happy splatting. And if your low level like me (k33) most k35 are cocky and arrogant and see you are a k33 and think i can take him and don't bother scouting, wrong answer. It's very effective and works well especially if you know how to annoy and bait ppl into doing what you want 😊 so don't think just because you have more tech you have me beat. It's always best to scout but in the time you do that i may have someone your size lurking and waiting to tap you. This is what I'm saying you never know what you may run into so scout first if your able otherwise bubble up buttercup

True, everyone is into T1's, well almost, the big boys in my server is building sieges and fixing their siege generals to counter T1, not sure if that's gonna work.

Update, we lost miserably on our last svs 🤣 Everything seems wrong in my server, most of our big boys, the coiners, doesn't seem to be very good in pvp, only few are, but most are busy in real life during weekends. Our leaders agreed to a last minute throne truce from the enemies, which was dumb, because they were kicking our a$$es in the war, the only way for us to win was if we conquer the enemy throne. I dunno if they forgot about that part. Or maybe, to save their resources or whatever, because they were afraid to lose more than they already have? They have waaay more negative points.🤦‍♀️ My server is a mess. 😮‍💨

You need to be careful about what you call "Misinformation". I myself, and many other people, have gotten their wings without having T1s. T1s are not a necessity for you to get wings. Spending is also not a necessity. Different factors, like the age of your server or how many big players are on the server, will impact the difficulty of getting wings, but it is certainly possible without T1s or massive spending.

Yeah, T1s are helpful for point based PvP.

I do have 170 mil, but my defensive base is low-tier ground. 1 bil t1 ground 500 mil t2 ground 250 mil t3 ground 150 mil t1 mounted 200 mil t1 siege 100 mil t2 siege 50 mil t3 siege All ground flats on defense and hp, and ground and siege flats on attack
