I only buy Australian opal. I have black and white opals. I do not like treated opals, like Andamooka opal, because it needs treated with sugar and acid. I also do not like doublets and triplets. Make sure that the photos or videos are not enhancing the opals colors and that the opals are not sitting on anything black, as this will give an illusion of a darker stone. Make certain to get with only reputable dealers.
