In this How to Tommie shows you how he practices Flying Changes with Fanatique Begijnhoeve. Maybe the most important learning is: take your time. Never rush the process, it may not be the shorter road in the end. We all love how Tommie sits so very still when riding, did you know it took him years of very conscious practice? We hope you benefit from this how to for your dressage training.
In this new series of videos, we’ll dive into the vision of training dressage at the Begijnhoeve! We are going to show you, step by step, how we educate our dressage horses and will provide you tips and tricks.

Hi Tommy! Really like this video, very helpful to see the different steps. I am in the middle of this process with my horse and it is starting to run smoothly. However, I would struggle to move the haunches in with her before the change. She is not very sensitive to the aids and if I would move the haunches in, I also use my new outside leg for that. I tend to really keep my new outside leg off her before the change, so I get a good reaction to the aid still when I ask for the change. To summarize, how do you teach your horse the difference in aid between the haunches in and the change?

Groetjes Cathelijn
@Begijnhoeve_official
@Begijnhoeve_official 3 жыл бұрын
