that's cause she doesn't stand out in Mamamoo. most people 1st notice Solar and Hwasa for their power vocals, husk, rasp, growls, etc techniques, then Moonbyul cause rap, and Wheein is the last that most people notice cause she doesn't have a technique hat makes her stand out. sure she has her breathy vocals, but Hwasa and Solar also sing with breathy vocals so it's not unique anymore when 3 sing with breathy vocals so most people ignore her. i can show you a vocal coach reacting to Immortal Songs Medley and the only thing he said about Wheein is: "she's stable" and that's it while he praise the others non-stop for growls, rasp, etc. but when he listened her solo he fell in love with her. unfortunately, she's a singer where you have to listen her solo to not underappreciate and ignore her cause in Mamamoo she doesn't stand out.

Wheein has an identifying factor in her work, but she's just versatile and blends in so well with the other 3 that her alternative, jovial artistic vibe is rarely highlighted in the group. Her honey voice is widely spoken and praised by casual listeners, although other great skills she possesses are wildly underrated, such as her dancing and solo performances.

Wheein that blends in so well with the other 3 is the least noticed in Mamamoo for not standing out, so this blend in, stable, etc that people say is a disadvantage and not advantage and doesn't help her. it drags her down cause she doesn't stand out. "Her honey voice is widely spoken and praised by casual listeners" and yet most people notice Solar's power vocals, growls, etc, Hwasa power vocals, rasp, etc, and Moonbyul for her rap. Moonbyul that barely sings 10 lines is more noticed than Wheein cause her rap makes her stand out. her solo performances and dancing are not promoted until Redd mini-album, so how do you expect people to find them out?

@@SapiaNt0mata sorry i must have expressed myself in a very redundant way as that was almost exactly what i wanted to get across, and i also forgot to add that your career before leaving rbw was totally neglected and poorly promoted. Is that she goes unnoticed, but she's still known for being an amazing vocalist in and out of fandom (part of that is due to the fact that she's on one of the best vocals in kpop, but I still think lately her stans are so loud in trying to promote it, that Wheein's vocals are being more talked about and overrated than Solar or Hwasa.) Its audience has grown considerably now, but I agree it's still very little recognition given what Wheein deserves. Wheein's talent and charisma, however, can be put to much better use now that she's under a new label that seems willing to help him grow.

@@SapiaNt0mata she was never MADE visible because RBW pretty much always used her as the canvas to show off Solar and Hwasa's uniqueness.🙄 As they grew popular, Hwasa and solar are given centres even in their choreo while Wheein remains mostly at the back. IMO, RBW used her "anxiety" as a nice cover up to under utilize+promote her while they push Hwasun because those two became their potential cash cows (as the "strong woman" trend took over the fans). Both Wheein and Byul deserve way better, well at least Byul gets royalty. Wheein was managed TERRIBLY by RBW. It was RBW that made her look insignificant compared to the other three and so did the fandom. She did the best thing by getting out of that rubbish.

@@charliechan7307 Yess! That was when, as our fandom usually says, I had to "Whee In" and then couldn't "Whee Out" ever again 🤣 Like I started to pay so much attention to her since then! (It's been several months since that happened, I was a typical baby moo who had largely not noticed Wheein all that much and that video was the final straw to just be like: "yep, she's the ace of kpop, no exaggerations, bias wrecked forever now 😅")
