Thank you for posting these, I'm eager to learn to drive this year but due to moving house I can't renew my provisional and get started so I'm doing all the learning I can until the move has happened, this has been great for my anxiety! I was certain I'd be learning Automatic but seeing how natural Millie is so quickly and the way you describe things so simply is really re-assuring, I've just explained how gears and roundabouts work to my blind boyfriend because of your videos and he understands and was able to explain which exits he'd use and which gear he'd go into while stationary like that's insane!! Thank you so much 🥰🥰

a tip that i used for meetings/gaps is look where the on coming vehicles wheels are positioned then look in my right mirror. so if their wheels are inside the white line and i look in my mirror and can see the white line i know i can make it through

Saying the hazards as each one appears will help Millie embed them in her mind as she progresses. She's doing well.

I passed my driving test first time on Thursday, I just wanted to tell you that I found your videos very helpful and they made me feel more prepared for my test! Do you have any advice on going out on my own now as I do feel nervous since I’m on my own?

With driving in your own, start on with short 10-15 mins drives Have your route planned so you will know the way and allow plenty of time for journeys. If you get a little flustered, park up somewhere safe and continue after a few minutes if you feel better Well done for passing! It gets easier as you drive more and more 😁😊

i failed my test this recent wednesday! even my instructor thought i’d pass for sure but people are saying my examiner was too harsh. i didn’t cause any danger or was unsafe. very disappointed i thought i would pass first time after watching loads of your videos 💓

Aw so sorry to hear that, With all the faults the examiners have to consider how others around you would be affect/are affected. So it just be unsafe if that same error had happened with others around you But it’s okay, you will get it next time :) Keep practicing

yeah i guess that’s true! it was a dual carriageway, i’ve only practiced them once, and i came from a side junction, and it was a roundabout merged into a dual carriageway, i turned right from it and stayed in the right lane, the issue was i didn’t move over to the left😅i thought that might’ve at least been a minor not a fail but at least i know now! Your videos have helped so much thank you!

@@freya.wootton I’m no expert but i think if you stay in the right lane for too long they’ll fail you but if you move to the left in good timing it can be a minor or nothing

Hey it all depends on how you’re doing and the tyres of roads where you are learning to drive. It’s a good idea to get really familiar with the main controls before going onto the main roads

Just try and take a few deep breaths and stay calm, make sure you’ve gone over everything. The examiners are all very nice, you just need to drive safe 😊 good luck

Hey Aman, if I am not wrong she should have waited behind the parked car 3:44 cuz that looks like a meeting situation.. I can always squeeze through even smaller gaps but again in a test wouldn’t that be a serious fault?

Hey yes that would have been a serious fault. Always try and leave a good clearance all around your vehicle while driving You need to be driving safe and not squeezing through small gaps. Even if you can get through, it doesn’t mean you should push in

@@themoocher3029 well Ik that.. but driving instructors say that you shouldn’t take even wide gaps like that otherwise you fail your driving test. It sounds really weird but it is what it is.
