Love these logic tutorials! Really good for letting beginner players find their way into the realm of “coding” in Stormworks!

My engine keeps stopping. They'll run for 30 seconds before failing. It's not the heat it doesn't get above 24c. It's not the rps I clamped them to 7-12. It not the fuel I have a dedicated fuel pump. I don't think it the torque becaue once it stops and I try to start it again it juts keeps turning and if I engage the clutch I'll start to move with battery power. So I am stuck. Maybe this will help but idk I feel like It should just run with bare basics mechanical controls

@@8Maduce50 do you have a solid air supply? With a pump? Also your exhaust can clog the engine if not pumped properly. Just some tips👍

I'm feeling a bit off Being both too lazy to actually make some Lua controllers myself and too eager to see more NJ's micro and Lua tutorials. They're great Someday I'll figure them controllers out, like I did composites. Someday

I only use my MCs for now, takes longer but actually learn them. Haven't tried Lua or modular engines yet.

Thnx it's a great job! But i don't understand why i can't duplicate logic box with hold Ctrl/Alt + move cursor or just push a Ctrl + D ? It's so simple solution.

Can you list MC editor keyboard shortcuts? Like which button to hold when you want to put 4 of the same component, as you did with the comp read, down.

You hold ctrl while placing them down. but yes, I see and understand that having the key bindings in the tutorial would be good. I'd like that too.

i want to do something that if engine temp is at 100 is switch it off how i am suppose to do that ?

Use a fuel valve and a threshold function. Threshold 0-99 will close the valve at temp 100.

I don’t know if anyone knows a fix to this, (or If you can do anything about it at all) but sometimes if you don’t have enough space for logic in the microcontroller you can move the logic to the outside (outside the max area of the microcontroller when you scroll all the way out) but then there is no way to get it back once it’s moved as you can’t see it or select it. I’ve found this to be really annoying because I have to either reset the microcontroller or delete certain nodes to redo it. Does anyone know a way that I can fix this or move the logic without having to restart?

are you saying that you need to make the micro controller bigger? if so, just go to the properties section and use the slider

I wish you’d use certain terms such as Boolean or float, that’s what these values are called. If you are gonna teach this stuff. It’s important to use the right language. It’s extremely jarring without it.

Not everyone knows what "boolean" means, and compared to today's laziness, many won't bother to take that extra step in Googling for 5 seconds.
