Hi Donna! About 9 months ago, I saw this video. At the time, I didn't know how to sew and didn't own a sewing machine. I was completely inspired by your explanations and decided to make this quilt for my dad using a layer cake with an "outdoorsy" theme. Thanks for explaining the process so clearly. My dad loves his quilt.

This is the video that taught me how to quilt! I made two of these and I’m now very confident in my skillset and ability to take on more difficult designs. I hadn’t used my sewing machines since I folded my design business nearly 15 years ago and, thanks to your wonderful videos, I’ve rekindled my love of sewing again ❤️

Donna never disappoints! She saved me from giving up on a quilt for my partner when I though “ why on earth did I thing I can make this? What was I thinking?” Watching Donna’s video on binding and borders I gave it another go. And it worked. I have finished and my partner was very happy with that. His favourite blanket 🤣. Donna’s tutorials are truly astonishing, easy to follow and fun!. I would like more time on my hands to do many projects! 😊

I wasn’t liking the fabric choice for this quilt but as usual I was wrong. The quilt is beautiful and the grunge blue is the perfect accent color. Love the pattern too. Interesting. Before seeing how you made the larger blocks, I saw a four patch of squares, and a four patch of strip units rotated to made a windmill. Very nice, thank you❤

Hello Jordan team! I have been a "wanna be" quilter-type for a very long time but have been too timid to just jump in. Recently a friend told me about your videos and I have been pretty much binge watching since (my dust bunnies are beginning to organize!! lol). Your tutorials are so very easy to follow and understand - you have a true gift. I even got enough confidence to take your "Line Dance" quilt pattern and use it to make a table runner instead (figure I should start small). Because of your clear instruction - both the video and the free pattern - I was able to figure out all the cuts and everything is now on my sewing machine, ready to be stitched together. Can't wait to see the finished project. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing all that you do with so many.

This is such a pretty quilt, and easy too! I don't have any children, but I do have nieces and nephews who seem to be getting engaged one after the other. They're all getting a quilt as a wedding gift. And later on, they will hopefully get baby quilts from me.

Wow! That turned out beautifully! I'm new to quilting and have only made two 3 yard quilt toppers. I did put my first topper on my batting but I oops cut one of the two backing pieces too short on accident. So now I'm thinking I might just cut equal squares that total the finished size of the quilt topper and just piece together my backing to the batting. It might give some extra texture once I get to the quilting part. I guess it's better to learn on my first one than to mess up the second topper that is going to be a gift for a good friend whose wife just had a baby. :)
