I used apps also to do my budgeting because really, it helps a lot. Nagiging aware ka ano pinaka gastos mo. However, these apps are also with pay. So what I did, I created my own excel sheet na naka-formula na. 😊

Yung ginagamit kong expense tracker ngayon is Expense-Spending Tracker. I love it kasi purely yung expenses ko lang yung nakikita ko. Walang hassle for me. 😊

I just got back to listing my expenses after 2 years and super nagulat ako sa nilaki ng gastos ko. Before, I was earning just enough so I was very conscious of how much I spend pero nung naging relaxed na ko narealize ko napapamahal din ang mga pinipili ko. I can say I already have my 1yr emergency fund so retirement fund naman ang focus ko this year. And start a "leisure fund" for travel and misc big purchases. I'll achieve this by making sure I live below my means so my expense per month should not be more than what I earn. Anything above should be taken from the leisure fund and if it's not enough, then hindi pa pwede gumastos.
