One change I was VERY happy with was what they did with the turtles in the first area. You didn't have to give them certain things to proceed. Love the idea that you can just save them and they give you a gift instead. It reminds me of how you can get gifts in the mines at certain levels. Uhhh my favorite aspect of diving? Just cleaning the coral is so satisfying and what happens after you 'clean the ocean'. Plus, the Merfolk themselves, I love them. Reason why I am taking a break is to wait for more Merfolk updates, specifically the romance part of it.

I can't wait for the next stream! I am playing right now! I wished everyone was here so we could all talk and play coral island together. See you! I wished I knew how you acquired millions of coins I'm having a hard time getting over $2,000. But I'm focusing a lot on farming so far. Anyway, hope to see everyone soon 😊

Using any of the processors like the mason jar or dehydrator help. Definitely make sure you are fertilising too

Thanks for another great video, Sarah!! I actually just started playing the full release of Coral Island this weekend. I've been busy so nice to finally have time to get into the game 😍 I have only done 2 activations at 10m depth, but this video was so helpful and definitely feel prepared to tackle the deeper parts in the future

They changed that from early access. Then you bought another higher quality net or fishing rod at the Beach shack - I guess after you had fished or caught a certain number of fish/insects. Now the Sanchez brothers upgrade them for you but you have to order that via the Beach shack again - I do like that you can upgrade your either your fishing rod or net at the same time as you can upgrade one farming tool at the actual blacksmith.

I don’t know if I missed it or not, but does the trash come back? I started clearing it all away and then realized I didn’t know if it respawned. 😳

Appreciate the video 🙏🏼 but just curious: is it bad to use the vortex? I know you need bronze ore for it & that’s a definite need for bronze bars. Unless it’s more time consuming & takes up space in the toolkit.

I personally find it more efficient to clear trash with the scythe, and it gives you more precision to target specific trash piles. Kelp is pretty valuable in early game, so I would only craft it if you have a healthy surplus, but try it out for yourself!

@@sarahsunstone Thank you & I have. I guess it isn’t good early on for obvious reasons but I just thought you’d have an insight on it. Also, I wanted to find an alternative to not use the scythe sine energy is crucial. But anyway, I’ll make sure to upgrade my scythe when possible because it is efficient.

I’m playing on PS5 and every time I’m done diving, I keep hearing the beeping sound all throughout the island even if I sleep. I need to reload to make the beeping sound go away 😅

This is something they are currently working on. Some of the background sounds are a little wonky right now but they are fixing it soon

On the lab upgrade, do you need to upgrade all parts for plants to come out higher quality? because seeds turn into seedlings and you cant even buy seedlings (as far as i know) so i dont really understand it. Why would there be two different upgrades for seeds and seedlings if all crops are both at one time in their life?

Im stuck at diving, i freed the 15 orbs but cant go deeper because there are still oily vines down the stairs barring me from continuing. Anyone had the same problem and know how to solve it?

If you open your map, any of the uncured shrines show as a grey shell. Completed ones will show yellow.

I haven’t updated my coral island yet. Will it reset everything back? Will I lose my money and my farm when I update to the latest version? ☹️

You should be able to keep your money but the farm will reset. Sarah has a few other videos to help with this

maybe you are at the part where you have done 20 orbs? then you have to find the spot with the huge black root going away because you get a story scene there, I seem to remember.
