There is a fee, the lessons are PRIVATE, no information is EVER passed out on the web about an individual ( except a few pictures posted to the facebook page, but ONLY on the strict agreement from the student and even then there is no information given about who you are or where you are from unless you agree to this information being given!). Lessons can be on any kit, Pioneer CDJ, Denon CDJ, Pioneer controller, Reloop Controller, Technics SL1200mk2.
Advise can also be given on the DJ industry, Mobile, Club, Radio and pirate radio.
Feel free to make notes and or record the lesson for future play back.

So I've ditched my digital decks and software, and after alot of money spent, gone vinyl with a 2 channel mixer.. it's a whole other world! Raw and alot harder!

Man that is like a hidden art form matching the tempo just using the pitch control and not touching the platter. I know it is two fairly basic beats to match but the amount of people that can do what you do are few and far between!

i've got some stanton t.62s, direct drive. and no matter how thin the slipmat or how gently i hold the record, the platter always stops. is this because the drive is worn out and i need to get it repaired? is it something that can get repaired? thanks for the vid!

Finnoula Taylor you have probably sorted it by now but do you have felt pads between the record and the platter?

@Finnoula Taylor it’s most likely just due to a weak motor. I had Stanton Str8-30’s years ago & had the same problems ☹️

I don’t understand - how come the vinyl appears to continue to turn at a constant speed, even when he holds it to stop it and find the first beat? What am I missing here?

Just getting started mixing vinyl. Is it acceptable to simply drop the next track on the one as long as the bpm of the new track is faster by no more than 8 bpm and continuing til I level off at around 120-130 bpm (depending on the style of music) ?
