The birds are from the following strains - Mason’s, Birketts & Ollie Harris x Masons. You will see me pairing the birds, waiting for them to lay, the first eggs and then when the eggs hatch. #pigeons #breeding #birminghamrollers

I've had rollers for years, we used to run the East Anglian Roller Club until we lost quite a few members. It's nice to see someone local who keeps them flying. A couple of our members want to know if you want to start a club.

Yeh, I have to travel to pick up good birds too. All of them seem to be quite some distance from me.

What cups are those, and are they hung on the wood?

They are small nest box cups with plastic handles. They kind of sit on to the nest box fronts.

Hi Gaz, it’s not easy to get good young birds but best bet would be to get in touch with local flyers, reputable roller flyers in the All England or English Open Fly. Hopefully someone can breed you some young birds next year to start with.

7 /10 days to lay right 18 days to hatch to have squabs not chick's they aren't chickens
