Exceptionally ,and uncommonly useful video, in that unlike most, which just show them doing a few steps and generally pegging it about, you demonstrate all the types of riding we encounter every day, in a tremendously helpful repeated way so we can really see how the machine behaves, and get an accurate impression of how tiring these things can be to ride and manoeuvre in tighter spaces. Great job, and ride review, and very solid skills yourself !

Thanks for this video. I don't ride fast but enjoy a nice cruise. But there is always the worry of a cut-out. Nice to know there is headroom here. I think you sold me on this one!!!

Get a full face man trust me! I though it was just precautionary and that I could totally control a fall enough to not scrape my face on the ground. I would have broke my jaw with a silly little crash had I not had mine. Thanks for posting dude, I really REALLY want an EX30.

Thank you Kevin. So looking forward to my EX30 in a couple of weeks. I will use mine mostly for longer commutes from home so it's weight shouldn't be too much of an issue apart from when one needs to brake quickly.

Price is huge no for me, the overall appeal of eucs vs other pevs was the unbeatable performance to cost value ratio but now we're at the stage that's not true any longer now these things are costing nearly 4k, you can literally buy a used high end motorcycle in the UK for that!

Great review ... looks like Begoode finaly got most of their i's dotted and t's crossed ... just a point about price as I often see people make comparisons to dirt bikes/motorcycles etc ... yeah for 5k you could buy a small boat or snow-mobile also ... but you can't take a dirt bike into a shopping mall, or throw it into the back seat of your car to go explore ... for 5k you could buy some new clothes also ... lol ... if price is an issue, buy a smaller wheel ... i don't get it when people complain about price and what 4-5k could buy ... there is no freedom I've discovered yet then flying around with a jet-pack between your legs. If these wheels hit 10K at some point there is still nothing like it .. except for possibly back jet packs --- which are $250,000 for 15 min of fun last time i checked.

Nice! Ya all big wheels are a PITA to maneuver around slow, just the nature of the beast. Thats why every enthusiasts needs multi wheels for multi purposes My little mten4 is a blast going slow & for dt city sideways & other such heavy traffic areas incl pedestrains, its a blast. Even better doing pendulums, v tight spins, backwards & other such tricks while waiting for lights. This ex30 is meant to be a speed demon & from the sounds of it, a very nimble speed demon. I lov the BG power ie.torque delivery & had to put up with the highschool science project innards. Now I dont so this ex30 will be my hi speed drug of choice. Good stuff Kevin 🤩

I know it’s 2024 now but if they make a light version of this with magnesium alloy it will be a throwback hit. ❤

Kevin, I have had my Abrams for a month now, and that is the only heavy wheel I have experience with. How does that compare to the EX30 besides not having suspension?

You seem way more comfortable and stable maneuvering this wheel (aside from the likely wind induced speed wobble), compared to the Sherman S. Even at lower speeds, with this slightly heavier wheel. Both wheels look fantastic, but if you had to pick one as your daily driver, which would you choose? Is the Sherman S's suspension so much more plush that it outweighs the solid stability of the EX30?

Kevin when can I order one from e-rides? I have the EX20S it's a bit too sluggish for riding on roads. When they are finally road legal this is the wheel I will ride.

You need to add a brake pad to enable fast riding... a added an eride brake pad.

Someone has to try to push this around 80kph and u may also have oscillation issue like others...the oscillation is very apparent ...mine happened around 78 kph ...
