I bought the Master with the full intent of upgrading it, and you're completely right. I got bumper guards to protect the light (from Clark) , power pads (from Grizzla), changed the tire (Kenda street tire), added cushion to the seat (foam), set the tilt angle to high (EUC World), changed the position of the kickstand bumpers, pumped the suspension to 350 psi (1 full rotation of the stock pump), and inserted a tracker (Samsung tracker is made of plastic) . Now after all that, I'm confidently riding in rain and take the wheel to top speed without thinking much. It feels great. The extra PSI in the suspension transformed the wheel. Trust me. My next upgrades are gonna be underglow, installing a speaker, and adding street brake lights. The turning radius is bad until you change the knobby tire. After I changed that, I can pedal scrape on command. They should really made a wide throw low-beam headlight. Idk what they were thinking in terms of waterproofing.

First batch Master problems. With ewheels battery safety upgrades and grizzla master kit with pads changes this wheel completely. Ewheels also change the tire to Kenda 340A. Other improvements for newer batches: - Improved handle system - Improved pad set - Board upgrades, Begode says "New Motherboard Technology" (major upgrade) - Optimized shock absorber - Strengthened pillars - Stainless steel screws - Higher quality fender Edit: zero issues with suspension and I leave it at 300psi. I weigh 74kg, it's very comfortable for city riding. Where I live, it never rains, so waterproofing isn't a concern.

For how much wheels are costing now we should really expect higher build quality and water resistance as standard. It's crazy to me that Begode would pump this out as better and new when they have an existing model that is superior.

This is my favorite wheel and it is my favorite ever. I had KS14s, MCM5v2, MSX, V12 HS, sherrman Max, Nikola 84v etc... And it is my favorite wheel ever. You have to work on it when you receive it, which may sound unacceptable for the price. I got it with a street tire, created support for standard pads and it is the best experience I've ever had on a wheel. The only drawback is that the battery sag is colossal, and if you ride like a madman this wheel won't go much above 50km of range. Else, it is not perfect, but definitely my perfect wheel even though I only drive in the city (Paris)/

I guess people get Begode for the one reason only: the perfomance. Thats the reason Begode Hero was abandoned by community, its was nothing special in that sense.

may i ask you something, i have begode master v4, but my wheels will feel unbalanced when i reach 48kmph. Which part should I check and fix. until now I don't dare to speed up to more than 60kmph

so is it just the back light making it not water proof? msp hs year and half . rides in rain . little baby bumper on top and good rubber tape in the render. if its super raining ill put tape on the front air spot. back one is half covered by the pads.

The rear lights on the master, T4 and master pro turn red when you are riding. They are only blue when you are standing still. Quality issues have always been a problem with begode wheels. If you buy a begode wheel, you want all performance and are willing to give up quality. Hopefully they are able to step up their quality soon so we can have the best quality wheels out there that also perform

I recently got the master and love it. I did get it with a street tire, got the full Clark pas set (expensive AF) and pumped up the shock to 325psi. Don't understand the blue rear light and wish the headlight had a nice cutoff. Imho the master is a bare bones wheel that you have to build up to your taste.

I have bought the Begode Master, I am happy with the wheel, but I have had a faulty display board more or less out of the box and what you are saying is true.

I don't have a Master, I have a T4, but I have to defend the build quality. I have a Tesla V2 and an 84v Nikola. Those basically use wood screws going into plastic. When you have to take it apart you realize you can only do that so many times before the plastic is done. The Master/T4 uses all CNC aluminum parts (a few stamped steel parts too), with quality machine screws. This is some enormous evolution over the older wheels. The suspension design is both good and bad. The main slider system is much better than Kingsongs. The scissor arm design allows you to fix problems ... sure the Veteran design is better, but good luck changing the feel if it doesnt work for you - you are stuck with those shocks. On the Master you can get third-party arms. If you are the typical sized rider in China the suspension will work pretty well, but if you start pushing 180lb+ then it requires waaay too much air in the shock, and the shock will either dump pressure into the neg chamber, or just leak out. The scissor arms also don't have any progressiveness to the stroke. OK, I will admit it was designed by an idiot, lol. The third party replacement arms completely transform the wheel, and I consider them a must for heavy riders or jumpers (Kuba or AMP). The new dual-pivot arms by Begode are actually a decent improvement, and should be enough for most average size riders. Get a decent shock while you are at it, so you don't have to constantly fiddle with air pressure.

Too weak and fragile for my use, this Master. When you ride off road, the wheel falls down quite often. The Master will never resist : front light, tail, mud guard... Trails are hard in Haute Loire !

The pads on the Master are cheap and thin like the MasPro. I think they were trying to save weight with the MasPro. With the Master, it's the first iteration. And as we know, they put improvements on the new wheel before fixing the old. At least the mounts are metal on the rear of the MasPro for carrying. Front is plastic, but seemingly sturdy. Pads up top are horrible on MasPro- the same type are on the Master. Leverage points are only 2 fingers wide on such a heavy machine. They are going to improve the top pad tho.

It will be ok when ever my grizzla stuff gets here. 80 lb wheel with absolutely no hand holds that won't shatter.

The Hero is my daily commute EUC and EXN is for fun and group rides, I’m not planning to buy new wheel for long time, Begode makes way to many new EUC,s let’s wait and see in year or two what’s worth the money.

Personally, it seems very, very strange to me that you pad the EUC so that falls and crashes are normal! Do you only know how to drive cars in such a way that you constantly bump into poles and fences? Do you also expect to have your cars and motorbikes polished to keep them in perfect condition after careless and unskillful use and accidents? Since the EUC has become a real means of transport both in terms of power and speed, maybe we should learn to use it like other means of transport?! If you hit a stone or a garden with your car even at low speed, the damage is quite significant and the restoration is very expensive!!!

Begode takes so much crap. Is some of it warranted? Sure. Complain about the $400 you need to spend for a Grizzla front fairing, side panels and rear handle all you want. Most people upgrade their tires and pads anyway, so who cares that you need to with the Master as well. The Master is far and above the best wheel on the market right now. The Abrams was a fiasco, and the s22 wasn't far behind. Do you like unexpected cutouts? By all means grab yourself an Abrams, they are dirt cheap. How many motherboards and motors do you wish to go through until Kingsong gets the Eagle right? The V12 is an overpriced 16 in wheel with Cool Tech and underpowered mosfets. Why anyone would be looking forward to a new wheel from Inmotion, Veteran or Kingsong is beyond me, their latest offerings have had all sorts of issues. The Master is 80% wonderful right out of the box. You need a $50 600 PSI RockShox pump to get the pressure up to about 420, and then the suspension is actually really good. The 134 volt power is unbelievably fun, smooth and seamless. The tried and true c38 motor is perfect. Finally, a machine with both torque and speed. The seat is quite comfortable. I find the trolley handle a little loose but perfectly positioned and I like that it locks into two heights and overall works well. I feel sorry for those who live in rainy geographical areas. Luckily most of the time where I live I can ride it without worry. One of these days someone will release a video showing how they weatherproofed their Master, and then you will have an all-time classic wheel. The T4 has a slightly improved suspension but is underpowered after you are spoiled with 134 volts and is also a little overpriced for what you get. The Master Pro doubles the battery but is 40 lb heavier and is not only a lousy Trail wheel, it's basically a long-range Cruiser and not much else. The EX30 looks promising but probably will have to go through a couple of versions before it is worth buying. Again, Begode takes a lot of crap but under the hood the Master is an incredible wheel. I doubt either the v13 or the Sherman S will be worth getting anytime earlier than 2024, if they are worth getting at all, and I'm certainly not holding my breath on Kingsong's big announcement, lol. If you'd rather sit on the sidelines and complain, by all means skip the Master. If you're not afraid of a little modding and want to get out there have the ride of your life, then stop listening to whiny KZfaqrs and get a Master already. No EUC is perfect but if you really like to ride, the Master is pretty damn close. I have 2 and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
