We all understand the value of planting trees and most of us, given the chance, would happily support treeplanting activities. But few of us really appreciate the preparatory work in terms of collecting and storing seeds, germinating them, raising them in a nursery and then planting them out. In this short Behind the Scenes episode, I take a peek into the largest community-based tree seedbank in Zimbabwe, run by the exceptionally dedicated team at the excellent My Trees Trust. I was blown away by what I saw!

Hey Gus, thank you for another very interesting and informative video! I have noticed you mention Zim often in your videos, however, your native plant range incorporates much of Southern and Eastern Africa as well making your target audience much wider and people that may benefit from your videos. 😊 Just something to note when #taging your videos. Thank you for sharing such an amazing project.
