Some people make lots of noise and don't achieve much. Others just get quietly on with their work and achieve a huge amount. Sharon Chingwaru definitely falls into the latter category. Her business, Mambokadzi, has been going since 2011, quietly building a market for skincare products made from indigenous plant ingredients, and marketed through a clever multi-level marketing strategy. I caught up with her at the Food Fair and was thrilled to see her latest innovation, a hibiscus-based herbal drink for men with a number of well-known herbal ingredients designed to boost energy and wellness.
In this series I am celebrating the pioneering entrepreneurs in the emerging BioTrade sector in Zimbabwe. BioTrade has a huge role to play in building our economy and improving the way we manage our biodiversity. But it takes people with courage, vision and perseverance to make it work. This is my way of appreciating those people.

Roselle looks similar to hibiscus in Egypt. Very popular in Egypt and also rich in vitamin c.
