Is there a specific reason the carpet is rolled up at certain times? or are the little night gremlins responsible for that?

Eevee gets hairballs in the middle of the night so when she seems like she might be getting one, I try to lower the amount of things she can ruin during the night, much rather clean hardwood/tile at 4am than rugs 😅

As an autist, I have a similar reaction to my cat very gently patting my leg if I'm focused on something and not expecting it. And cats are almost all autistic.
