The reason ron got put into the makeup for a whole day was to prove that Jim was being a huge dramatic diva, it wasn’t as torturous as he was acting like it was.

It gets worse the longer it lasts. If Ron really wanted to know what it was like he should've worn the makeup as long as Jim Carrey did.

Jim Carrey was born to play this role. He was perfect for it. His physicality with the role, slapstick method, and overly expressive style was the perfect storm. I cannot imagine anybody else playing this role perfectly.
