South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Dawn Staley now has three national championships in the last seven years. She is THE standard. We caught up with the Hall of Famer on campus at South Carolina for her SLAM 250 cover shoot, where we talked about her success and we got to hang out with her dog, the aptly named Champ.

I love that we are appreciating Dawn in her moment and giving her the flowers she truly deserves in the moments that she deserves them. She has done so much for the game and pushing her players to not only be great on the court, but to be great individuals in life. Her passion for the game and genuine love and appreciation among people exudes in everything she does. We love and appreciate you Coach Staley!!!

Love her, but disagree with the legacy or she wouldn't have authorized the statue. She does great philanthropic work, thats what i like best. Thats bigger than basketball. The person is always more important than the occupation.
