It's just about calories. Milk and curd : Around 80 calories per 100 gms. 3.5 gms protein per 100gms. So for 24 gms protein it will take 700 gms milk or curd. So 560 calories. Whey protein - 1 scoop 30 gms will give 24 gms protein - only 104 calories .

Curd is better. It is digested better because the bacteria breaks down the lactose. Plus it has probiotics which is very good for gut health and overall health.

@@surender7826 Arthritis is due to rise of inflammation in the body and one of the cause for this is the absence of adequate quality protein in our diet. Sure it has a lot of other factors causing this like heredity, stress, lifestyle..but protein deficiency is one of the reason...and that is what he is saying.
