Since 2000, the Beijing CBD Forum has been successfully held for 23 sessions, becoming an important platform for connecting global resources and pooling world wisdom. The "Dialogue on Sustainable Development in Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation" is an important part of the 2024 Beijing CBD Forum, co-hosted by the Chaoyang District People's Government Foreign Affairs Office, Jianwai Sub-district, and the Center for China and Globalization (CCG).
China and ASEAN have been each other's largest trading partner for three consecutive years, and cooperation in emerging industries such as new energy vehicles, digital economy, clean energy, and green agriculture has become a new highlight.
This conference brought together experts, scholars, and industry leaders from various fields, including leaders from Beijing and Chaoyang District, RCEP research experts, heads of international organizations such as the ASEAN-China Center, economic and trade officers from ASEAN country embassies, representatives of Chinese enterprises, and leaders of enterprises and chambers of commerce from ASEAN countries.
They conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges around the theme of "Accelerating the Formation of New Productivity and Boosting the Sustainable Development of Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation in ASEAN-China", in order to promote the high-quality development of regional trade and economic cooperation, thereby promoting the construction of a China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
