Hey, thank you so much for making this vid. I have been searching for discussion on this topic, as it's something I struggle with. As you said, content creation culture is "grind, grind, grind." I love the way it lets me be creative, & I long ago realized working for myself is the only thing that can work with my immense need for flexibility, but I reallly need to connect w other disabled creators, as navigating this space is quite uncharted. Do you happen to know of any discord channels or anything where disabled creators can connect? I think that would be sooo helpful. ✌

Thank you so much for this comment. Means a lot. And so sorry for the late reply. KZfaq held it for review and I hadn't checked. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any Discords or channels for this purpose. In all honesty I don't tend to get involved in those sorts of things because I think in the end it's more limiting and I don't like to project my disability if that makes any sense? I hope you find what you're looking for and you're able to grow your community. Ps. If you can't find one and that's what you really want, make it yourself and make it happen 💚

Big respect to you, both for pushing through and for talking about this. I tend to keep it separate, but have mentioned in a few videos about my brain haemorrhage and recovery. It helped me talking about it and I had a few nice messages from others going through tough times. Keep up the great content and keep that balance right. 🤓👍🏻

I believe I have spoken to you about it before Dave although on one of my previous channels! Big respect to you for pushing on too. Life changing events are difficult to deal with. Having others to lean on and kind messages from folk does help a lot. Thanks for watching and for the comment mate.

All the best mate. I stream nearly daily has it takes my mind of my situation sometimes. Plus as I'm limited to what I can do I find it very therapeutic for me.

Having my disability mate really does affect me in many different ways, from like for instance, playing game with keyboard and mouse is a no go with some games, if i can find a game that doesn't mean stretching fingers about then i am ok. Onto my Artificial Limbs well, this is too long to even comment about. Lets just say walking i can't walk that far. Living alone is tough on its own but trying to make content is really tough. We then get onto the Mental Health part that is really a struggle at times. Thank you mate i loved this video @GroundedTech because you don't see these types of videos around anymore. To know i am not the only one that goes thru tough times. Keep working hard mate and rest up when needed. Massive respect for what you do with your illness. Much love brother.
