Honestly the cameras are the one thing that really let them down every time. I didn't like OneUI before but really like it now.

Good sales on S24 plus right now on Samsung website but I just dont think its time to upgrade my s21fe. The price after trade in would be about £500 but I cant imagine the cameras would be significantly better. I'd be more leaning towards the 8a as an interim phone perhaps.

The 8a would probably be a good option. I still think an S23 Ultra would be a cracking upgrade from the S21 FE.

The battery life on the 24 Ultra is amazing. I'm constantly on it and lasts at least 36 hours before a charge.

If the hardware is older what does it matter If the software more than makes up with it. I didn't know I would love the s24 plus. I lost my s23 ultra on Holiday in Tunisia. Was forced to upgrade. Wasn't a fan of design with flat screen on the s24ultra. I preferred my awesome s23ultras design which was the peak of that design. However I'm glad that I did discover the s24plus camera, finally samsung has a phone that does brown skin tones correctly.

I don't think the software makes up for the lack of camera hardware tbf. The rest of the phone I really liked. Glad you're enjoying it. If it works for you that's all that matters.

Would get the S24+ because of 12GB RAM. I personally don't mind having Exynos in my region since there are other phones out there with Snapdragon SoC that I can choose. Also, DeX ftw.

I have no issues with it being Exynos. I just don't agree with being charged the same as those who get the Snapdragon version. But yeah the spec of the phone and Dex etc are good.

I have a S22 which I didn't like much, maybe I shoudl gone with the + that year,, I end up getting Pizel 7 which i did like but had issue this eyar with it that it end up messing up and lksot ym information and numbers. I was think fi should upgrade to oen fo the enw phone but not to sure if they woudl be betetr, I also need bigger becaise of eye sisue so i see samsung having deal right now but just nto sure if want to spend money.

I used the S22 for a bit and it was just not a great phone. I can say for sure that the S24+ is a lot better.

Indeed. It's a shame as I really like this phone in general use. Miles better than the Pixel.

What I don't Like about Samsung is the Cameras and especially OneUI. I have had nexus phones and pixel phones since the beginning and I simply hate bloatware of any kind and Samsung always gives you some. OneUi differences from stock android is another reason. Some things about OneUI are different just to be different, no logical reason. Samsung makes an app, when none is needed, Google apps are quite excellent in what they do. Duplication of apps just takes up memory. Stock Android on my pixel uses less internal memory than on Samsung Phones. Google keeps their phones secure without the use of KNOX. Why is this needed? As Long as Google makes phones, I can't see me ever using a samsung phone.

I totally understand that. Same issues I have with Samsung for the most part even if I've been really enjoying using the S23 Ultra of late. OneUI is nicer to use these days but the stores and duplicated apps are frustrating.

@lggr2261 well Android is Google so it will come with their apps. It's not really fair to say it's bloatware. When I use a Samsung and am forced to use an extra store that's more frustrating. I also don't want the other apps.

@lggr2261 you disliking Google apps doesn't make them bloatware. They own the system. I don't like Samsung apps but they're not bloatware. It's quite simple.
