In this video we show some behind the scenes on how we manage the things we use in our videos to be "My Take On Home & Garden". We have hundreds and hundreds of things to store, manage and keep clean. One of our biggest questions from friends and family is where to you store everything? So we figured we would show you how this all is neatly organized. We have many places where we have to store the gigantic collection of Christmas decor and trees and wreaths. I had to laugh when you said “it’s not easy being us” - I think most of us who enjoy decor and changing decor can probably say the same thing. TFS. I will say, you must have a wonderful memory because I’m sure I would be rummaging around often looking for that one particular piece that I KNOW I have but can’t find. It was delightful

I find rearranging and purging us less things is king....I added 5 xtra cupboards when we bought this house ....and the pantry holds interchangeable decor with lots of shelves.....I added shelves in every room !😎🐝💛🐣🎬📷

Oh boy Jeff...I made it to your video on where you stash everything. You mentioned the dishwaher running in the background makes it homey....adorable. Your mind is like a steel trip....you have everything categorized in your head. Now I see the sets of dishes you have in the diningroom as you have the other dishes in your newly renovated pantry. I love my Maximalist Network!.

Yes, I'm commenting on a year old video!!👍 I went back to last year's videos, and I'm trying to watch all of them. Love this one, esp the "slow pan" filming 💯. Got to see your china/crystal, close up✳️. I have the Pfaltzgraff White Heritage also, but mine are not the Christmas ones. I learned the pattern 🍽️ names for 2 sets of china today. Really enjoyed this one.

im watching this one,love it all and i know alot problemly belonged to your mom,,,,you made me think about when i was young at grandma"s i was drying a little bowl my cousion that they raised was washing i was drying the little bowl was broke all the way but still was being used i was drying it and it just fall apart but my grandma act like she didnt like that i finished leting it come apart ,you know i never forgot how she made me feel,,but JEFF THE DISHIES AND THINGS THAT MY MOM GAVE TO ME,I KNOW I HAVE SISTERS AND BROTHERS BUT THEY DONTWANT BE FAMILY ANY MORE ,,,SO I WISH SOME HOW THAT WHEN I DIE THAT SOME HOW YOU AND ANGELA GET ALL MY MOM"S THINGS AND MINE,I KNOW BOTH OF YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM FOR MOM AND ME,,,GOD BLESS YOU BOTH AND YOUR FAMILY.,,,,,,AND YES YOU MAKE FLOWER ARANGEMENT WITH THOSE SNOW SLEDGES.

This video fascinated me! I was dying to see how you guys got all your beautiful things stored. I’m always looking for nooks and crannies trying to store my Christmas beauties! Where are your Clothtiques? Do u store them in their original boxes?

I dedicated a dresser drawer to Christmas in our Master this year, and the top shelf of our Master closet after watching this video the first time before Christmas. It’s a great idea that I never considered even though we’re running out of room in the usual places 🤦‍♀️. Genius guys! 💡

Your right it is normal haha, for us its what we like. I scaled way back on my indoor Christmas some years ago, too much packing away and storing! Now it's primarily outdoor lights which take up a lot less space and can still have a ton. I gotta ask, what/who got you so interested in glass and china?

Oh lol...I scaled back on outdoor to do indoor what we could see more of....at 10yrs old I went to an estate sale with my mom...bought a shoe box of junk for $1 looked thru it and came up with marbles sea shells and a glass bull dog that started another whole collection ....I've been ruined ever since....antiques collectables and the sheer art of it all...I excelled in art and industrial arts in high school...the tablescapes I suppose let me paint without painting ! Which I do like to do also...if you see our new painting gallery wall video...you'll see a copy of a Vangough that I did from a 3x5 card when I was 18....I read thru a lot of furniture and decor books and in Ethan Allen there was an incredible Christmas table all done and at prob.16 I thought, I want that some day and the house it needs around it...hope you were ready for a book lol ...your the best ! Thanks again for your interest 🌴🏄😎

How early do you start decorating? My husband bought me a she shed this year to put our Christmas in. Oh my goodness I have some of the Avon Cape Cod pieces. I also have A cup of Christmas Tea. I have the storybook, teapot, platter, cream and sugar, 2cups and saucers and the miniature tea set. It looks like we like some of the same decor. I also have the Old British Castles and the Old Country Roses with platters, coffee pot teapot, cream and sugar dish, plus a lot of the serving dishes. Who plays the guitar? My Daddy was a guitar player with a gospel group. Pat in NC

My son tinkers on it but he is an awesome French horn player.....love old British castles and so much more.....I always started when the last trick or treater was gone...now with our show its more like second week October....thx Pat 🌷🌷🌷

Wow, that's a lot of stuff stored! Right now i'm happy we don't have that and sold ours all in. Imagine having to pack, move and unpack all that! 🤔😫It's a lot of work indeed, but as long as you love doing it is good! 😊👍

I agree ,who knows better than me, as I keep changing my house after every year or two, but still decorate the house as if I'm going to live there for ever...and keep collecting so much of stuff...but I love living in a full house...who knows, how long would I live,whatever I have I try to enjoy....

@@LuxuryHomebyEnn Same here, i have moved so much i stopped taking stuff with me. 😅 And even if you try, you always end up collecting new things. In the end you want to feel at home too. 👍

@@MyTakeOnHomeGarden This 9 years actually have been the longest i have lived in one place. 36 moves and 4 emigrations makes it easier to leave stuff behind. It just saves you back pain! 😂😂 We love the sense of freedom, but of course eventually we will find that special place and settle down. And stuff will be collected! 😉😄 For now the only collection we have are our souvenirs, but they will be stored until we find ourselves a base. 👍
