What a jerk... You shouldn't judge spanish speakers if you don't get our language. "Dame una cerveza" is imperative, but not in the bad way. It is actually kind of a friendly way to ask for something.

I am from Spain, and here we are polite when we ask for a beer. We always say "excuse me, can I have a beer?" and we never say "give me a beer!", just as the man of the video assures. That is not common in Spain...well, at least is not common from spanish people. It is common in Spain, usually in Mallorca, Málaga, Ibiza...when British people come here and ask for beer unpolitely when they are drunk 😉

We never say "oye, dame una cerveza" but rather "podrias ponerme una cerveza, por favor" or even using the formal tense (i.e. "usted", which by the way you don't have in Engish). Where did you go in Spain? Probably to Benidorm or Magaluf with your polite fellow hooligans who year after year end up drinking, fighting, destroying pubs and cities. Oh yes, the famous British politeness ...

Dear Sir, Good Morning. Sub : VERB - the Gerund & the Infinitive (verbal noun) AND, the Participle (verbal adjective) . - - - - - - - We had already been taught by our seniors/ parents that the VERB is the most important among the eight parts of speech in English sentences. To focus our attention to the use the Gerund , the infinitive AND the Participle, we have collected more sentences, containing any one of the above three, for our perusal again and again. Besides listening to the invaluable informations in your videos, we do periodically revise the English grammar ( by P. C. Wren & Martin). Though the rate of speaking is increased, i. e., more number of words per Minute, your accent of English is easily understandable by us. We thank you and thank the God.

Thank you for the contents. I’m from Korea and my boss is British, and he always started his sentence with “Can you do this~ “. I was confused if he wanted me to do or he would just ask me of my willingness. Now I could completely understand what he meant - haha^^;;
