There's nothing wrong at all with stayed focused on yourself. It's better for you to be patient and take things day by day building a stable lifestyle that enriches you. With all of the sudden changes happening all over the world being safe, sustained and stable is going to be the new rich. People life fast and furiously which isn't the way to go, slow and steady wins the race. You are doing fantastic for yourself so don't let anyone get in the way of that!!

You know what's amazing ? You're smiling like someone that just fell in love w someone else, but i'm almost 100% sure you're thinking about you and anyone else. You're only looking at who you were yesterday and who you are right now. Think about this: the point in common with almost every religion is one: Life IS pain. And it actually is. But the sense of every religion is also that One of the things that really makes your life easier and meaningful is the realization that you're headed somewhere better than you are now. So remember the wisest thing (for me) that Nietzsche said: "He who has a why, can bear any how." You're doing great, keep going ! 🌻❤
