Well done George! You are doing a great job. I am thankful to God for your depth of Bible knowledge and spiritual understanding. Please keep up the good work. The leadership of the church, (the body of Christ) is not supposed to be political or purely democratic. Jesus Christ is the head of the church and executes his leadership through the Holy Spirit for those that are obedient. It is unfortunate that many churches today are using a combination of Judaism, politics, human traditions and church dogmas to organize the leadership of the church. That is why there is so much abuse and heresies in many churches. New Testament Christianity as handed down by the Apostles involves cooperative teamwork and accountability to one another. It is more of a theocratic leadership than what the church has erroneously evolved into. What I mean is that the present system of the leadership of many churches today, centered around one 'champion' or 'super-spiritual figure' is not biblical. The church age of today is more business-like than family-like or spiritual. As long as it selfishly benefits the 'leaders'; they will concoct all theological arguments to confuse and control the innocent, ignorant or sincere seekers. That is part of the falling away that the Bible talks about in various places. Only sincere and sensitive believers who thoroughly read their Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit like George; can discern the progressive errors deeply penetrating the church to weaken the testimony of the gospel. Nevertheless, God can't be mocked. Everyone will surely be judged or rewarded according to the truthfulness or sincerity of his works and actions. Please, let's be careful in this end-time. We must learn to draw a clear line between what is normal and what is erroneous. Biblical, moral and spiritual balances are keys.

Issue is not with fatherhood. It is with spiritual abuse in the name of fatherhood. When Demas forsook Apostle Paul, or when Alexander the Coppersmith did him harm(both especially Demas were "sons") Paul's expressed wishes were that God repay the latter. Period. When Jesus was betrayed and denied, what were his words?

Please let's get one thing straight. Touch not my anointed doesn't mean don't correct my anointed when they are wrong. Even the bible says that it's only a fool that rejects correction. No matter how highly placed any pastor is, they are prone to making mistakes. That's why the should be corrected. The wise ones who understand scriptures will take it. While the fools would argue with it. But the question is, HOW do you make the correction? That's what matters.

I saw a video where a well known Nigerian pastor said as a Christian, you don't disrespect or insult pastors and leaders of the church, no matter what. That those who do so are bringing curses on themselves. It is true. Then I found another video clip where the same pastor said that a pastor must never take advantage of God's people, and that he must never curse them. That to do so will be to invite curses on himself. It is true. That's the balance. If you disagree with any of the two, and you are a Christian, not a pagan; then you are already a serious problem to the church. Let me tell a true-life story an anglican priest once told us. He told us that years ago, the elders of his church were paying him peanuts. The idea was a pastor be paid very little, to keep him humble and at the beck and call of the elders of the church. But this was not your regular priest. He was a man of faith. God provided for his needs, but that is another story. Now, in the final month of his tenure as vicar or chaplain, he sat down with the elders and showed them how wrong they had been. By the time he was done talking, they were all close to tears, and the committee decided there and then to increase his salary from N1000 to N10000! This was decades ago. The pastor told them that he had spoken not for himself, but for them: to help them, so that God will be pleased with them and bless them. They didn't know that the Lord was not pleased with them. The pastor asked that his new N10000 salary be given to the new pastor resuming the next month. He told them to use it to welcome him and treat him well from day one, and then see how much God will bless the church and its elders. Now, this is one story he shared as he spoke to them from his heart, that day: In another parish, where the elders didn't really like the pastor, and were a source of persecution and distress to him, they made sure that they paid him peanuts. Now, it was noticed that money was being stolen from the offering almost every Sunday. Between the end of counting on Sunday and the money getting to the bank on Monday, money went missing. They knew it had to be someone with access, taking this money, very close to the end of service. So a few church elders secretly came together and decided to set a trap. One Sunday, just about an hour after the service had ended, when after-service meetings were still going on, they asked all the doors of the church to be locked up, and went into the vestry ordering a recount of the collections taken that Sunday. And as suspected, the money was short. Some was already missing. Now, during the initial count, they had placed a mark on all the paper money. This was in the days of notes and coins. There were no smartphones or internet or online transfers etc. The plan was announced or explained quickly to all present. And everyone agreed to be searched openly. From janitors to sides persons or ushers to elders -no one was exempted. And the money was found on the vicar! It was still in the pockets of his robes! He was so ashamed that he immediately left. That week, the vicar died! And the following week, The ringleader of those who made the plan to catch the thief, Also died! This is what the pastor, our pastor at the beginning of this post who donated his salary to the in-coming pastor - this is what he told the elders of the church; and and he told us when we went to see him in his house in our freshman year (100 level). I have never been able to forget it. See the justice of God? Like in Acts 5, fear came upon the whole church. (Please if you are hyper grace or all this God-does-not-kill vagabonds, go and sit down inside the room and be reading your Bible until you grow teeth. This one is meat, not milk) Whether in this world, or in the world to come God will not spare shepherds who waste the flock, or maltreat them, or manipulate them, or lead them into error. And God will not spare you if you spend your life fighting against his servants, even if you also are a minister Think on these things. Written by Dr EbeleUzor Peters

ADDENDUM ONE - TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED... The saying "Touch not my anointed" is the word of God. It is real and it is true; but it does not refer to pastors only. It is talking about ALL believers. Let's look at it together... Psalms 105:13 When they went from one nation to another, From one kingdom to another people, Psalms 105:14 He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Psalms 105:15 Saying, "Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm." You see that? When they went from nation to nation. It's talking about the whole nation of Israel journeying in the wilderness. God didn't allow anyone touch them That's what "Touch not may anointed ones" means. It refers to all God's people. The whole church. All believers. It is "And do my prophets no harm" that referred directly to the men of God amongst the Israelites. They all were not prophets; but all were the anointed ones of God. So, dear believer, stop scoffing at "Touch not my anointed." It is God's word for you; for your safety and well-being. It applies to you. No weapon formed against you should prosper. Any one who toys with you will have God to answer to Receive it and confess it. Learn to read your Bible yourself rather than repeating worldly cliches like "Don't play the 'Touch not my anointed' card yhen yhen yhen". It is not a card. It is a prophetic statement of faith in God's power, written for you. If you want to scoff at something, maybe that's the second part of that verse "And do my prophets no harm." ...which refers to men specially anointed to serve as ministers in the church. But that will be your cup of sugarless tea. Written by Dr EbeleUzor Peters

'Touch not my anointed & do my prophets no harm' no longer applies under this dispensation. God made that pronouncement when the Jews were His only chosen people on earth. They were scattered among the nations and were intimidated because they had no home. Now the entire world has been reconciled back to God through Christ. The bible is clear that God no longer has favourites because all men are equal before Him. Christ told us we'll be persecuted when we follow Him but will be rewarded in heaven. God no longer has prophets, the task of spreading the word of God is for all men.

This is a concern i had and always have, Spiritual Fatherism, though i understand the concept I dont call anyone my "SPIRITUAL FATHER" and here are my two cents. I would call this the concept of spiritual authority, and Jesus modeled this since He was always submitted to the Father, and the Apostles were submitted to Christ Christ models what spiritual authority is, He never threatened His disciples, He never asked for a seed to bless them, He never cursed those who were wrong ( Judas was a special case), Jesus never had scandals. Thats the standard Jesus set as a chief Shepherd and Apostle of our faith, we also see how the apostles dealt with those who were under them. J Jesus sets a high standard for those who will fend for His flock, just so you know, Jesus is deeply grieved by those who hurt and mistreat his flock, in that vein many also have been blessed, healed, helped, natured by proper spiritual authority powered by the Spirit of Christ, thats why He did this before He ascended.. Ephesians 4: 11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Jesus Himself gave this structure of spiritual authorities He deployed to Help us conform to His image.. TO BE FAIR, ALSO MINISTERS HAVE BEEN HURT BY THE FLOCK.. 3 John 1: 9 I wrote something to the church; but Diotrephes, who loves to put himself first, does not accept what we say and refuses to recognize my authority. 10 For this reason, if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, unjustly accusing us with wicked words and unjustified charges. And not satisfied with this, he refuses to receive the [missionary] brothers himself, and also forbids those who want to [welcome them] and puts them out of the church. we see also how the lack of understanding of spiritual authority set by God wounds ministers, and brings divisions and even other believers are hurt as we see in 3 John 1:9 SPiritual Authority is not to control, manipulate, hurt, belittle, anyone, no, We are led, driven and yield to the control of the Holy Spirit, Spiritual authority is set for the sake of our souls, for our perfecting according to Ephesians 4:12.. As for those starting ministry, you may have an individual calling, or burden, but you need someone to hold your hand, for accountability purposes, someone to pour into you, this is where spiritual authority comes in, no minister can say they are specially called and need no one, Jesus already set a standard, the rest of the old testament prophets didnt have ministries as we do now, they were important, they can teach us alot but cannot be used as a yard stick for modern ministry. the standard for a spiritual authority i can submit to is not one that is famous , heavily anointed, but one that mirrors Christ. Here is wisdom for every believer, preacher, prophet, apostle, worshipper.... Hebrews 13: 17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. The Bible gives us qualities of the ones we submit to ( note i didnt use the term father, since it brings all kinds of issues) 1 TIMOTHY 3: 3 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. Bishop simply means overseer Strong's Concordance episkopé: a visiting, an overseeing Original Word: ἐπισκοπή, ῆς, ἡ Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine Transliteration: episkopé Phonetic Spelling: (ep-is-kop-ay') Definition: a visiting, an overseeing Usage: (a) visitation (of judgment), (b) oversight, supervision, overseership. lastly, this leadershio series might highlight what proper "spiritual fatherism" or spiritual authority should be handled,. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z7R7hriqusWbhIE.html&ab_channel=Dr.JohnAkpami Shalom.

I do disagree with you a bit on this. The bible calls all believers to be submitted to authorities including secular ones. This call to submit to them is not of a spiritual kind but that of humility. We are not called to submit to any man in terms of spiritual covering or spiritual father. Jesus didn't model what we have today. The bible is clear when it says not to henceforth call any one father but only God and that is to say no man, pastor , apostle, or bishop births anyone spiritually hence has no authority over any man spiritually or is his covering as it is taught. What Jesus model was total submission to God and humility among me. Sadly this spiritual fatherism has been preached to covert power and authority over the lords people. The criteria you listed from Hebrews are no for identifying who to submit to, the scriptures are clear once again when it says "a bishop or overseer is one of such repute because he serves the body as christ served. The true model is not one of spiritual authority but one found in the image of christ to be trustworthy and faithful to God and the people he serves. Bishops, pastors and others are chief servants hence why they are to care for the flow of the lord who are his children.

@@sentinels8982 ok sir... I understand but the context is clear, do secular authorities minister to our souls? let me adress a point you raised... "The bible is clear when it says not to henceforth call any one father but only God and that is to say no man, pastor , apostle, or bishop births anyone spiritually hence has no authority over any man spiritually or is his covering as it is taught" lets take a close look at the scripture, I dont call anyone my spiritual father, but still that scripture is often mishandled. Matthew 23: 8But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, [even] Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9And call no [man] your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, [even] Christ. THE CONCEPT DOESNT MEAN DONT CALL ANYONE FATHER, OTHERWISE IT WOULD BE AN ERROR TO EVEN CALL YOUR BIOLOGICAL OR ADOPTIVE DAD , FATHER, SO THAT IS NOT THE POINT, IN THE JEWISH CULTURE THE FATHER WAS THE SOURCE, SUSTAINER, SO JESUS TOLD HIS DISCIPLES TO CALL NO ONE THEIR SOURCE EXCEPT THEIR HEAVENLY FATHER. IN THAT VEIN, NO ONE WAS CALLED A SPIRITUAL FATHER IN THE BIBLE, MAYBE EXCEPT ABRAHAM, SO I GET YOUR CONCERNS, LET ME ADRESS SOMETHING, IF YOU READ THE EPISTLES CLEARLY, YOU CAN SEE HOW THE BELIEVERS DEALT WITH THOSE WHO WERE OVERSEERS OR SHEPHERDS OR PASTORS OR APOSTLES, THEY LISTENED TO THE AFOREMENTIONED, THEY WERE COUNSELED, THEY WERE REBUKED, THEY WERE COMFORTED, THEY WERE BLESSED BY THE OVERSEERS. I ADMIT THAT THIS CONCEPT HAS BEEN SKEWED, BUT THE BIBLE MAKES NO PROVISION FOR LONE RANGERS, WHO DONT HAVE A SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY OVER THEM, NOT TO CONTROL OR MANIPULATE THEM, BUT TO MINISTER TO THEM AS THE LORD HAS CALLED THEM... LETS LOOK AT THIS.. Ephesians 4: 1 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: THIS IS THE STRUCTURE CHRIST GAVE, WE ALL NEED TO BE EQUIPPED, WE ALL NEED TO BE NATURED SO THAT WE CAN INTO CHRIST, WHETHER YOU ARE A PASTOR, A PROPHET, A JANITOR, A BILLIONAIRE, A PAUPER AND CONFESS CHRIST, YOU MUST BE EQUIPPED, AND SO THIS IS THE STRUCTURE CHRIST GAVE FOR ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO IS A BELIEVER.... Clearly those appointed in this offices are in the same body as we are, they are not better than us, no, they are authorities appointed by God to effect the formation of Christ in us. I also saw your concept of authority is flawed. Authority doesn't mean ruling or controlling, or dictatorship no... If we see How Paul explained this in Ephesians 5, about Husband and wife, ANd also to each other where he said we submit ourselves one to another, submission actually means, TENDER DEVOTION, so submission of a husband to wife, amongst believers, to spiritual and secular authorities, is being tenderly devoted not being zombified and robbed of the ability to think... CHRIST IN HIS WISDOM MODELED THIS STRUCTURE FOR OUR GOOD, AND ANYONE WHO DOES NOT SUBSCRIBE TO IT MISSES OUT ON A LOT, AND THOSE WHO MISUSE THE OFFICE ARE IN FOR JUDGEMENT, WE ARE ALL CATERED FOR.. To emphasize, only the bad elements that are loud, we still have proper structure as Christ instituted unlike the bad representations we have seen, we have authorities that are transparent, tender, wise, pure, gentle, and those under their ministries flourish holistically and reflect Christ. They dont have to be called fathers, i personally only call my dad Father, but i am tenderly devoted to the spiritual authority God has set over me.... I would recommend a book " Spiritual authority" by watchman nee, its a good read to properly understand this concept from God's eyes..

@@brayanartist6233 If you are to only submit to those that feed your soul then do not take orders from anyone except believers, but the truth is you do submit to secular authority. Israel goes into captivity, God tells them to pray for where they are so it goes well with them, Paul in Roman's calls believers to submit to all authority and states that secular authority exist by God's permission. True authority in biblical terms has never been rulership over the many, but service to the many. There are criteria to go through for one to become an overseer, I would say 90% of african overseers , the popular ones do not qualify to be one. There is a way the bible wants believers to live and serve. So Jesus when teaching the disciples about leadership told them what true leadership was. Serving and not being served. Today in the church, unless you want to overlook it, leadership in the church is contrary to what Jesus said. How many leaders in the church lead sacrificial lives in service of the flock? In every church you go to the one served is the leader yet when christ was leaving he told Peter, feed my flock, protect my flock. That doesn't go on in the church because these same people say touch not the anointed. Now my view of authority isn't not flawed cuz I pointed out its abuse. True authority is being the least to serve the many. If any man isn't the least he isn't worthy of submitting to cuz we only follow as much as they follow chirst. All these self-preaching men of God always talking about what they have done are not worthy of any submission

JESUS MET THE SAMARITAN LADY AFTER SHE WENT PREACHING, WHO WAS HER SPIRITUAL FATHER, THE MAD MAN AT GADARA AFTER ENCOUNTERING JESUS WENT AND CONQUERED 10 CITIES, WHO WAS HIS SPIRITUAL FATHER. JESUS SENT THE DISCIPLINES AND THEY FOUND OTHERS IN THE FIELD PREACHING NOT SENT BY JESUS SO WHO WAS THEIR SPIRITUAL FATHER ? When people are looking for a tool to keep young ministers under manipulation they start quoting scriptures to defend their selfish intent. John the Baptist never called Jesus his SPIRITUAL son or did Jesus call John the Baptist his SPIRITUAL father. I have seen in the name of spiritual fatherism laying courses of people when their parents have not done so, this is absolutely madness and cultism not Christianity. This nonsense is only going on in some particular Pentecostal churches why ?

@@electarkministries i didnt say call anyone a spiritual father, neither did i call anyone that. I brought the concept of spiritual authority which is scriptural and i brought this example.. HERE IS MY POST SIR... "This is a concern i had and always have, Spiritual Fatherism, i understand the concept, and here are my two cents. I would call this the concept of spiritual authority, and Jesus modeled this since He was always submitted to the Father, and the Apostles were submitted to Christ Christ models what a spiritual authority is, He never threatened His disciples, He never asked for a seed to bless them, He never cursed those who were wrong ( Judas was a special case), Jesus never had scandals. Thats the standard Jesus set as a chief Shepherd and Apostle of our faith, we also see how the apostles dealt with those who were under them." CHRIST MODELLED SUBMISSION, SO OUR STANDARD IS NOT JOHN THE BAPTIST, OR THE SAMARITAN WOMAN, JESUS MODELLED HOW HE WALKED WITH THE FATHER AND THE APOSTLES WITH JESUS, THEN THE CHURCH WITH THE APOSTLES, TEACHERS, AND PROPHETS... Let me ask, Paul saw Jesus , why didnt he begin his ministry right away, he didnt need the apostles and others right? Let see how Paul handled himself, and we can clearly see his ministry was not hindered by the Apostles after submitting to their Apostolic Authority... Acts 13; 13 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets [who spoke a new message of God to the people] and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called [a]Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen who had been brought up with [b]Herod [Antipas] the tetrarch, and Saul. 2 While they were serving the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul (Paul) for the work to which I have called them.” 3 Then after fasting and praying, they laid their hands on them [in approval and dedication] and sent them away [on their first journey]. SO PAUL WAS COMMISIONED AFTER GOD SPOKE TO THE TEACHERS AND PROPHETS... GALATIANS 2: 9 And recognizing the grace [that God had] bestowed on me, James and Cephas (Peter) and John, who were reputed to be pillars [of the Jerusalem church], gave to me and Barnabas the [c]right hand of fellowship so that we could go to the Gentiles [with their blessing] and they to the circumcised (Jews). 10 They asked only [one thing], that we remember the poor, the very thing I was also eager to do. PAUL WAS NOT ROGUE AND INDEPENDENT DESPITE HAVING THE REASONS, AGAIN I HAVE NOT MENTIONED ANYTHING ABOUT SPIRITUAL FATHERISM WHICH HAS WOUNDED MANY PEOPLE, I AM NOT DEFENDING IT, THE POINT IS HOW SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY WORKS AND WE HAVE A CHIEF APOSTLE PAUL WHO WROTE MOST OF THE NEW TESTAMENT GIVE US AN EXAMPLE... AMONGST THE TERRIBLE SELF CENTERED SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY, THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE GENUINE, SELFLESS AND HUMBLE, SO THERE IS ENOUGH REASON TO GO THE BIBLICAL OF SUBMISSION .. Hebrews 13: 17 Obey your [spiritual] leaders and submit to them [recognizing their authority over you], for they are keeping watch over your souls and continually guarding your spiritual welfare as those who will give an account [of their stewardship of you]. Let them do this with joy and not with grief and groans, for this would be of no benefit to you.

the prophets of the old testament have a school where they receive from the old to pass on, this is why we still have some of their books. John the Baptist left his priesthood to John the prophets in the wilderness where he received to pass on. Apostle Paul received from Ananias to pass on. The truth is, receiving from fathers allows the latter glory to be greater than the former in a way where the fathers become a stepping stone for the children to manifest. Some don't need spiritual guidance from others but if the next generation is going to be greater, there should be fatherhood. The church is like a tree, some branches grow from the stem others (many) grow from other branches 🎋

Really love your insight and your analysis on topical issues. The Bible is a book of principles. The only way to relate to any principle is to build a 'doctrine' around it. Doctrines however come in different shades and colors. But any doctrine that negate the fundamental tenets of the principle of God is deceptive. Every mentor protege relationship in the Bible has a common denominator. The protegies have deep respect and awe for the mentors and the rewards of this relationship on the part of the protege was evident. Father's can still be corrected but it has to be with respect. Once the correction is done out of spite, envy or anger; there is a negative consequence. Remember Moses and Mariam. Num. 12: 1 - 2. Mariam I suppose had expected Moses to marry an Isrealite; It is very logical and rational. Afterall, Moses was the leader, what example was he setting by marrying a foreign woman. But the fact that Mariam corrected Moses out of spite brought leprosy upon her. Basically, many doctrines have been built around father-son relationship but the scriptural principle is simple; sons should have respect and reverence for their fathers. If you have to correct them, do it respectfully.

Fatherhood is a responsibility not a title the meaning of Father is source anyone you derives nourishment from spiritually tutor and care for you your welfare remember no one will be perfect in this flesh until we put off this flesh when one of the Son of noah spoke against his father's error critically unlike the other sons corrected their father's error by covering him publicly with love and respect for the position. The issue is when you allow yourself to be pushed because of the way you feel about someone mistake and attack the position, the position will punish you for ignoring the potency of the position you don't fight authority illegally it takes a higher authority to judge a lesser authority not the other way round

He will remind you of how I follow Christ Jesus, just as I teach in all the churches wherever I go. 1 Corinthians 4:18 Some of you have become arrogant, thinking I will not visit you again. 1 Corinthians 4:19 But I will come-and soon-if the Lord lets me, and then I’ll find out whether these arrogant people just give pretentious speeches or whether they really have God’s power. 1 Corinthians 4:20 For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power. 1 Corinthians 4:21 Which do you choose? Should I come with a rod to punish you, or should I come with love and a gentle spirit?……..analyse this passage please my brother…

Wonderful reference. Fatherism is scriptural and it can never change. Even the analysis is learnt first. No one is born with video editing and being critical. It gotten through some forms of learning. Yet it doesn't give right to fathers to maltreat sons and daughters as if they are God almighty. As a father discharge your mandate on those following you as God will instruct you and not as your selfish thought tells you. Train people and graduate them. Don't keep them in bondage for ever. Even your biological children grow up and leave you after some time.

On spiritual fatherism or submission to fathers, what you cannot do, does not necessarily mean that it is wrong and what you can do does not mean that it is right. I think as we follow Christ and grow in Him continually, certain things that are debatable and not clear now will be clear then. As for me I keep following Christ, and whatever He leads me to do (ncluding being a spiritual son or father) and I am very sure of, I will do.

Fatherism is something I believe in & virtually all the profets in the Bible are answerable to someone else before they became fully what they were been trained for. Some like Samuel and Timothy were mentored by Eli and Paul respective, others like Aaron's children and Philip's daughters were by Birth. In all fields of endeavors including the church there is always that aspect of mentorship and submission to an authority. If a pastor goes out of God's work into wrongful practices, legal actions can be taken against such since they are not above the government. Continue your good work. This maybe your calling to sound warning to those fathers that we can not talk to since we are under them. Do not ignore Godly counsel when you err especially comments that are reasonable and scriptural.

Matthew 23:9 (The words of Jesus himself) And don’t call anyone on earth ‘Father.’ You have one Father. He is in heaven. We are as equal as how God decides to use us in the dispensation of how he does things on earth Some people will study the bible for hours and pray and yet not become public figures In Africa respect is what makes people call anyone father or mother, a person who is older than you even as an inlaw is automatically called father, mother. Bishop Oyedepo giving to fund the event of Benson Idahosa was because he had to give. Many want to help in church and in life but can't because they don't have, so they can't help. The blessing prayed on him is what any elder can pray on anyone for helping them We stay close to a pastor, father, mother because we like what they do. If you personally don't agree with even your husband sleeping around, you won't be ok with your pastor sleeping around...it's as easy as that. You personally accept anything or any sermon because something in you accepts it May God help us...na by bible no be by pastor we will be judged

Concerning the questions of who laid hands on this and that, look not everything is stated in the bible and I'm sure you know that already, although I'm not saying all of had hands laid upon them, what I'm saying is that the bible doesn't state all that happened, but doesn't mean the Principle is null and void if God can as anieas to lay hands on paul, Paul on Timothy and then jesus ask John to suffer it to be so, then that my brother is enough, btw I don't hate beingrealgeorge contents they're very informative 👍

So because he's a minister he can't be wrong, only GOD CAN CORRECT HIM.. Clearly someone that wants to deceive the people.. No one can ever be to old or elevated to high to learn or be corrected

These men don't know the effect one yeast will cause to the whole dough. When my biological father makes a mistake, it stays in my house, when a man of God says anything in the public domain and its a mistake many take it as the truth without reference and act on it. Even if he corrects its there will always be many who will never hear and still move in the falsehood that is why mistakes from them should not be tolerated at all. Its funny how they always site the biological family as an example. If my biological father had a business id make sure it was done well, yet the father of spirits business should be left to men of God to abuse how they like because they thing they're of a better calling than others. The self-centeredness needs to stop and until it does I will always stand against falsehood from anyone who twists the word of the lord. You see these are the lies they spew and its very annoying. You don't need to submit to any man of God or spiritual lineage ask they call it to have miracles. The word of God is clear. All you need is fath as small as a mustard seed. Yet because they want worship and not to serve, another man must submit to them smh. You people spent all your preaching time to talk about yourselves and business, money and earth prestige and never preach christ but you want us to submit to you. No wonder not one of the mirrors christ in anyway. Shame really. All they hunt is anointing for themselves and nothing else. They're just modern day motivational speakers with a hint of bible verses. Their measure of a true ministry is not one that mirrors christ but one of fame, numbers, riches, prestige and early materialism .

There is no spiritual Father here on Earth. according to Jesus Christ Himself. I can't idolized any man as spiritual Father.

Jesus asks us not to call anyone 'Father' because none of us is qualified for that title. No one (apart from him), would sacrifice his life for his followers. None of us can love anyone unconditionally (Agape). Even when we have the gifts and the fruits we use and show them inconsistently and therefore lose their value. We are all striving to be like him but we cannot because it is not in our nature. He created us and knows what we are capable of and what we are not. We are temperamental, we love one minute, we hate the next. We are selfish and greedy. We thank God for being a Loving Father.
