Last lap in 53 seconds. 400 m world record is 43 seconds. He could have run a decent 400m….after 9600 m! Fantastic!

Veo este video una y otra y otra vez y no dejo de disfrutarlo. Es increíble, portentoso, de proporciones épicas la forma de correr y rematar de Beckele. Se me ponen los pelos de punta, la piel de gallina y hasta me saca lágrimas, ver éste ESPECTÁCULO que nos dan estos monstruos africanos, para el deleite de quienes amamos el atletismo, el rey de los Deportes.

Me pasa lo mismo, la he visto infinidad de veces y en todas no dejo perder el asombro Para mi es de las mejores carreras, si no es que la mejor Por las clases que impartieron los etiopes Bekele , sihine y si Gebresselasie no hubiera estado saliendo de su lesion hubiera sido como la de Paris 2003 Pero en esta en especial, simplemente hacian lo que querian

No sé que me produce más emoción, si ver correr a los grandes corredores etíopes o escuchar a los más grandes relatores deportivos que hubo en España, José Ángel de la Casa y Gregorio Parra. Esos eran periodistas y no los que llevan ahora.

Bekele accelerated a lot before the last lap, some 80m-90m before. If he saved that energy just for the last lap he would have done under 53s for sure.

@@davidshannon2860 that's a good joke. Mo was nothing when Bekele, Sihine, Tadesse and other true elite runners ruled the track. Bekele jogged his way to a flat 27:00 10k, while Mo busted a gut just to get near that time, and was nowhere near Bekele's records.

inboundmoose not sure about sihine and tedase wot major championship gold medals did they win and for the record mo won more world championship and Olympic doubles than bekele and haile did mo won the double double bekele and haile never got anywhere near that

@@davidshannon2860 He ran at different times, You have no idea what you're talking about. in terms of ability they are much better in the mo he was lucky to compete with a less good athlete and that is why he won a lot. and to be honest you know him just because He's from England and is in general originally he's from Somalia (which is a country near Kenya and Ethiopia).
