Coming back to this legendary match, probably the best of the whole World Cup that year. Japan played such a beautiful footbal, with a great mindset, and put our Belgian players in huge danger, which led them to become absolute beasts for the comeback. The whole game was breathtaking, huge respect to Japan for being the best opponent against Belgium since a long time !

A Japanese football tragedy they had 2-0... dident have margins on their side... belgium did..... japan dident desverve to lose like that they were so good and allways attacked great football, great goals! atleast overtime they deserved and the win maybe then.. they did so good and ofc belgium get a counterattack the last seconds and a "stupid lucky first goal" happens like 1 in 10000 times and the end stupid shit goals from belgium so sad.. if just japan played the ball short instead of long at the end.. :( speecless and so sad for Japan almost crying for them they did not desrve that end they outplayed belgium in the second half fun football even tho they were up 2-0 they kept attacking and going forward all the time with longballs and plays!.... :((

Japan had great performances both editions. This edition they defeated 2 giants in the group(Germany and Spain) and finnished the group on the first place. Their lost to Croatia was honorable cause they took them to the penalties. Though Japan penalties were too weak. Japan is getting better and better each edition

France didn't "dominate" like you said. There's no such thing as "could have scored if they wanted to". That was a pretty close match, tbh. But France has a team WAY better than Argentina. And Argentina has a poor defense. So France easily infiltrated through Argentina defense and scored 3 astonishing goals after the 2-1 on the second half
