Wayne, at the Sephora sale, I picked up the MERIT blush balm. I am a 65.5 (note the .5) years young woman. I have worked hard for so many years to preserve my skin by doing the most important basics. Gentle cleansing, vitamin C, a basic moisturizer and sunscreen. This week, I got carded at my local grocer, as she didn't believe that I was a senior. 'Madam, may I see your identification please'. I showed her my id. Then she asked me if I could quickly write down my skin car routine. I was wearing the Merit balm. Coincidence? As a senior, I have embraced the less is more and I rock that every day. It's the confidence that I have earned with life experience and a simple, but impactful minimalistic makeup look. Wayne, love your videos, you truly are the authority, thank you! Love from Canada!

So happy to see Wayne happy with this makeup line. Clean makeup has been my jam and it’s nice to see a line like Merit receive more attention. Prices are affordable too, compared to the luxury clean makeup like Westman Atelier and Kjaer Weis. I hope Merit will send him more things so he can review/play- I would love to watch!

Have always loved your longer tutorials when I can relax-all so informative😊 But for a review-I LOVE that you were so direct, told us *how* you were using the product while clearly showing which colors you were using, and how you liked it! TO👏 THE👏 POINT👏 I’ve been on the verge of trying some merit products but you’ve officially convinced me! ESPECIALLY with the shadows-so happy you showed how you use them to get a pretty, natural, just freakin VERY ATTRACTIVE look!!! Hahaha I’m so obsessed! I’ve never been a fan of stick foundations because of the heaviness but the Merit one is incredible. It’s the only thing I’m using on my skin right now.

I'm a *recovering compulsive shopper,* 🙁 so I now REALLY take an exceedingly long time when committing to my purchases. I've been pouring over the *MERIT* website for over a few months now. I decided to go with the MERIT grouping of products that includes: mascara, brow, a beautiful shadow called "Social", and application brush. A lovely makeup bag is included with a first purchases, and all was reasonably priced, too! Thank you so kindly for demonstrating MERIT'S complexion stick and everything else. I'm detecting an upcoming purchase very soon. ♥️

I feel you! Even 10 years later, other than Amazon/target where I only get essentials that I actually need to use, I have an INCREDIBLY hard time clicking the final “purchase” button on any other website! It’s great though, because by the time we *make* the actual purchase-in this case for you, as a perfect example-we’ve considered what we’re purchasing for over a month, often multiple; and at that point, if you keep being pulled back….def not an impulse buy! Wanted you to know that you’re certainly not the only one. I have a bit of lingering trauma even, and guilt-most of it has been worked through, hehe🙃 I have severe ADHD and am only now understanding how that contributed-websites like GILT, Nordstrom rack (hautelook at the time), and another I can’t recall….the freaking countdown was awful, ha! Awesome way to ensure you prevent impulse buys! I’ve found myself doing similar things! Hope you love your stuff!

I love the merit products I have them all , just turned 60 and it's a great line for us older women. I have 6 of the shadows I mix and match them and also use them as a shadow base when putting powder on top . Thanks for the video Wayne, you just made my love of all things merit even more loved. Absolute fan of Merit! Does wonders on my mid-50s face. I've been using the blush balms for a few months. Just picked up the Minimalist and it's delightful. Everything has colour, but not too much. Hydrating. Just a lovely product line.

Wayne your skin just gets better and is looking beautiful. It always looked pretty good to me even when you pointed out a few issues, but now your skin just looks absolutely amazing. I have the same complexion and an oily excess also and am using some of your recommendations which have also made a dramatic difference to my skin so many thanks for that. I just picked up their bronzer stick and some more of their tinted lip oils from the Sephora sale. I've always loved the oils, and now I'm obsessed with the bronzer! I need to try more of their cream face products, they just blend so beautifully

Merit makeup does look great.. The face product's look dry skin friendly. As a mature woman with combo/oily skin who likes a minimal look, its a challenge. All of those complexion products would literally slide off my skin in 3 hours or during my first hot flash, whichever came first.

@@sheenavaughan2717 I believe you are right, but he doesn’t get hot flashes. When I get them my face and neck gets a serious layer of sweat and I can feel my makeup sliding over my face, ugh. There I need to stick with powder products because u don’t like the matte look, ugh so frustrating!

Merit is beautiful. I have rosacea and having been using The Minimalist for two years now, and I am almost finished with my second stick. I use the Merit brush, I have two actually. I use one for the foundation stick and one for the bronzer and blushes. The blushes are so gorgeous. Their mascara is amazing and their lip oils are so beautiful, they leave behind a gorgeous stain. Unfortunately, their brow product didn't do anything for me, and I have yet to try the eyeshadows. The highlighter is stunning too. I use the brush to blend the foundation, and then I have found that using my finger to pat the product on a blemish, zit, pimple, or scar is best. I love the bronzer, but I need it in a darker shade. I love YOU by the way, and have enjoyed watching your content for years now. I watched you way back when you did the tutorials, in a different house I believe, whiter back ground, different setup. I rely/relied so much on your HOODED eyes related content. I can't afford your brushes, but one day I aspire to own them all-as well as your products! I have enjoyed watching you grow, your channel grow, and your content grow. Sir Wayne Goss, if I could ask anything of you and have it be granted, could you please do tutorials on mature skin, the whole nine yards of techniques, products, application, tools to use, etc?. My mother is in her early sixties and has very sparse brows and crepy skin on her eyelids. Thank you again for posting the content that you do!

10:55 - 11:05 = solid gold. I have and love most of the eyeshadows (and yes, I also use the darker shades as gel liner), and the blush in Stockholm.

Merit is awesome and their blush is so pigmented and buildable. I have found that the color selection that they have in everything from blush to lip to foundation as it is nice as someone who is an Irish Jew (Yes, we exist) who is pretty much of the skin tone “Opaque”, MERIT is a brand that somehow absolutely WORKS for me!! Their product size is one of the few that when I am comparing the ?/gm, MERIT is the WINNER at least 80% of the time. Another issue with MERIT is that the ‘BALM” texture of most of their products is exactly what someone who is …erhem….older, truly loves. We WANT that moisture and can ALWAYS just powder down something if it is glowing too much. GLAD YOU FOUND IT WAYNE!!!!❤❤❤❤

Been using it since last January. Love it. Love everything they have. Highly recommend to everyone. Hint to all - buy two shades of face makeup and you can use the lighter one under eye and the put the darker one on top.

I'm NOT a fan of mascara, as an older woman I find it Bleeds/smudges. However I found Meybelline Sky High. It doesn't smudge and it is easy to remove.

I love the Merit colors and textures too. The only problem is the cheek and lip colors don't last very long and need a lot of reapplications during the day. But, way better than overdoing it. Glad you like them too.
