17:14 noteworthy btw that E-roads (green sign) is a intereuropean road numbering system that works similarly to US highway numbering. even numbers go east-west, odd ones north-south, numbers increase going east and south. triple numbers are connecting roads. and like in US system there's some exceptions and the roads aren't always contiguous (eg. E18 jumps over seas through the nordics and ends up in ireland) but anyway if you're otherwise lost and see a green road number maybe it helps.

One of the reasons Europe is so highly represented in Geoguessr is because we've got great Google Street View coverage. Now I think there's probably still some weighting going on because the eastern half of USA has a similar density of roads covered on Street View. But Street View coverage is definitely a factor in these. That's why you'll never be in Belarus or Bosnia and Herzegovina and that's why you get sent to Japan and Taiwan so frequently (although again - there might be something behind the scenes that makes these places appear more frequently that I don't know about). Okay holy crap I am kinda proud of myself - when I saw that guess at 48:48 I was like "This looks like Bhutan to me. I've seen Bhutan like 4 times but this looks like Bhutan".

36:52 yes, Estonia is really underrated. It has the most startups in Europe right now, so it's doing pretty well financially. The nature there is beautiful. They've started reforesting, even though their country is already 50% covered in forests. Besides large forests, there are waterfalls and really pretty coastlines. Its culture is a mix of Baltic, Scandinavian and Russian. A pretty diverse place that's really worth visiting at some point.
