Back at the Bell tent after my month trip in Scotland, In this video I cook multiple meals over my new winnerwell wood burner which has performed amazingly with the matching oven that fits on top. It was great being back in the woodland and doing work around camp.

Hey Becky, Searcher here, 73 years young from North central Pennsylvania where we have 300 to 600 lb bears 🐻 to deal with at my ⛺️, started doing the bush thing when I was a young lad, 8 , 9 grab a can of beans and a potato, fishing rod hike 3 miles to my camping spot , have my fire beans and potato catch a wild brook trout and some crayfish, cook the trout over the coals, cook the crayfish in the bean can, back then we called it Bushwacking , still doing it today, your videos are addicting, with your knowledge and skills, Becky you are an inspiration, stay safe, God Bless

I am glad that you are back and now in your tent in the woods and hope you enjoyed the trip into Scotland, Becky. Your father and mother must have missed you and was glad to see you return home safely. Your cooking does look like and the food must be fantastic as you all are back to living in your main tent. You all do live the life in the woods and that know is great to have and use in case of an emergency and too bad most people don't know how to survive in the wilderness.

@@GirlOutdoors Hey! I just found your channel and I love it! Liked, subbed & all the rest. I only have one suggestion: It's a permanent camp, right? Your life would get so much easier with a small chef's knife, 6-8 inches max. You can find cheap ones anywhere. At home I use mine for everything. I don't think I could cook without it. Sorry to piggy-back on someone else's comment but I figured it was only partially rude considering it's a month old.

I was just driving home and contemplating living in my 5m bell tent next year for a few months. Then I flick on You Tube and this video is sitting in my recommendations. A thoroughly enjoyable hour. Thank you. I bought an off cut from a carpet shop and laid it on the floor and it truly transformed the feel and keep the condensation factor down. Going to make a water tank for the log burner now, great idea. I look forward to watching the rest of your videos over the coming weeks.

Our current temps at the moment are quite high between 30/38 Deg C mini heatwave conditions. Thank you 🙏 for sharing look forward to the next episode of your journey stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

...Finally got back to the video ... Enjoy watching you live at your camp as home,, not all days need to be full speed.. not sure what you were doing cutting the stump end of that downed tree but that's a workout .... and what the ground shoveling was to become,, hope you remembered your Boreal saw, looks to have gotten buried... ....Fun to see the meals you cook up , so full and nourishing... As mentioned before ,, I also have the Woodlander stove set-up and also the oven although I have not used the oven yet ,, but I like making bread and casserole type meals on the lazy days or maybe extremely bad days of weather where you just stay in.... .. .Your meals are first class ,, no wonder Dad comes around often at dinner time........Thank You for sharing your days at basecamp.... .....Stay Safe and God Bless .....
